🌻 Sunflowers naturally follow the sun when they’re young turning east to west during the day and resetting at night.
As they mature, they stop moving and often face east permanently to attract more warmth and pollinators.
What looks like a bow is really nature’s smart design.
The Groveland Four were falsely accused in 1949 for crimes they did not commit. One was shot over 400 times by an angry mob. Another was killed by the sheriff taking him to jail. Now, almost 80 years later, their families are one step closer to receiving compensation for the generational trauma this system inflicted on them. This is why we demand truth and accountability. We must continue to fight to right the wrongs of a system that has failed our people.

Last weekend on #PoliticsNation, I spoke with Newark Mayor Ras Baraka and National Action Network NJ Board Member Rev. Steffie Bartley about the ongoing situation surrounding Delaney Hall in Newark, New Jersey.
As tensions continued to rise, we discussed the importance of protecting people’s rights, ensuring transparency and oversight, and pursuing justice through peaceful action. Violence and chaos only distract from the concerns that brought people into the streets in the first place.
Rev. Bartley reflected on NAN’s 35-year tradition of nonviolent protest and the importance of community leaders, faith leaders, and public officials working together to reduce tensions while keeping attention on those directly impacted. Mayor Baraka discussed the steps being taken to maintain public safety and restore calm in Newark.
The right to protest is fundamental, but our movements are strongest when they remain disciplined, focused, and committed to peaceful change.
Be sure to tune in to #PoliticsNation every Saturday and Sunday at 5 PM ET on MSNOW.

Over the last 12 years, India has witnessed many transformations and at the core of these changes is the welfare of the poor and downtrodden. We have always been inspired by Antyodaya and our effort has always been to ensure that the benefits of development reach those who were left behind for decades. From Jan Dhan accounts and Direct Benefit Transfer to Swachh Bharat, PM Awas Yojana, Jal Jeevan Mission, Ayushman Bharat and more, every initiative has been driven by a simple objective of ensuring people have dignity and opportunity.

Congratulations to Major Abhilasha Barak on being conferred the UN Military Gender Advocate of the Year Award. Major Barak is serving as an Engagement Team Commander and Gender Focal Point within the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL). This honour is a recognition of her exemplary service and also of India’s longstanding contribution to United Nations peacekeeping efforts. Her achievement is also an inspiration to countless young Indians, especially our daughters, who aspire to serve the nation and humanity.
The reason ID is banned in California (and New York) elections is to enable large-scale fraud.
When you combine no ID and mail-in voting, fraud is de facto legalized.
