The Falguni Pathak event at Jio World Convention Centre is a total hotchpotch. Those who live in Mumbai know what I’m talking about.

We were 25 people who went on Friday to celebrate my mom’s birthday , We are all Hardcore Garba Players. Passes cost around ₹3,500 each, yet we arrived an hour before Falguni started and couldn’t find even a small place to play.

Groups had arrived 3 hours early and blocked spaces. The worst part? For every 10 people playing, 15 more were guarding their circle. Even after requesting almost everyone, no one moved an inch.

The real issue isn’t these people. It’s the companies selling these passes — TribeVibe and BookMyShow.

When we complained to Jio officials, they said they were fed up with managing the crowd. Yet, even when the venue was jam-packed, passes were still being sold!

There has to be some humanity. The crowd was so much that even areas near the bathrooms were packed with people playing.

This isn’t just my observation. Countless people are facing the same situation.

I hope this reaches Falguni Pathak, Jio, TribeVibe and BookMyShow and they plan a better navratri next year.

મુખ્યમંત્રીની મંજૂરી બાદ પેઢીનામાની પ્રક્રિયા ડિજિટલ પોર્ટલ પર ઉપલબ્ધ બનશે

ગુજરાતમાં પેઢીનામું ઓનલાઇન બનાવવાની વ્યવસ્થા શરૂ કરવાની તૈયારી હાથ ધરવામાં આવી છે. આ વ્યવસ્થાથી અરજદારોને કચેરીઓના વારંવાર ધક્કા ખાવામાંથી મુક્તિ મળશે.

પેઢીનામું એટલે કોઈ વ્યક્તિના પરિવારના સભ્યો અને તેમની વચ્ચેના સંબંધોની વિગતો દર્શાવતો દસ્તાવેજ. વારસાઈ હક, જમીન-મિલકતના કામકાજ તથા અન્ય સરકારી પ્રક્રિયાઓમાં તેનો ઉપયોગ થાય છે.

હાલમાં પેઢીનામું બનાવવા માટે અરજદારોને પંચાયત અથવા મહેસૂલ કચેરીમાં જવું પડે છે. આ પ્રક્રિયામાં સમય લાગે છે અને વારંવાર કચેરીના ધક્કા ખાવાની મુશ્કેલી પડે છે.

રાજ્ય સરકાર દ્વારા પેઢીનામાની પ્રક્રિયા ઓનલાઇન કરવાની દિશામાં કામગીરી હાથ ધરવામાં આવી છે. મુખ્યમંત્રીની મંજૂરી બાદ આ સેવા ડિજિટલ પોર્ટલ પર ઉપલબ્ધ બનશે.

નવી વ્યવસ્થામાં અરજદારો ઓનલાઇન અરજી કરી શકશે, જેથી પ્રક્રિયા સરળ બનશે અને સમયની બચત થશે.

પેઢીનામું બનાવવા અંગે પંચાયત તલાટીઓ અને મહેસૂલ તલાટીઓ વચ્ચે કામગીરીની જવાબદારીને લઈને મતભેદ ચાલી રહ્યા છે. આ વિવાદ વચ્ચે ઓનલાઇન વ્યવસ્થા અમલમાં આવવાથી અરજદારોને રાહત મળવાની આશા છે.

આ વ્યવસ્થાથી પેઢીનામું મેળવવાની પ્રક્રિયામાં પારદર્શિતા વધશે અને અરજદારોને સરકારી કચેરીઓમાં વારંવાર જવાની મુશ્કેલી ઘટશે.
