We condemn the act of white supremacist, misogynist terror in Atlanta against Asian-American and Asian women. We are holding space for AAPI communities in Atlanta and around the country as we grapple with continued terror and violence.

Last week, as part of the National Day of Action Against Racism sponsored by the American Educational Studies Association, our group, joined by other faculty, sent a letter to Auburn's administration. That letter can be found at https://t.co/pWxBaA1Gf3.

The project promises to build new collaborations and to advance the state of educational research and queer scholarship!

@KamdenStrunk, @ryan_schey, and @ant_duran recently received funding from the American Educational Research Association (AERA) for their project, “Bridging the Rainbow Gap: Transcending Disciplinary Boundaries in K-12 and Higher Education LGBTQ Scholarship.”

This project will bring together about 30 queer studies scholars from across the country to work across K-12 and Higher Education to advance queer scholarship. This project involves a virtual convening in early 2021, and multiple day meeting on campus later in 2021.
