After much thought, I’ve decided to step away from football. Working alongside this staff, our players, and Jayhawk Nation has been an incredible honor. Thank you for embracing me as family. I’ll always cheer for KU, wherever life takes me. 💙❤️ #RockChalk

Things escalated fast: Rumors, now confirmed, link Dixie to Miami-OH HC Seymour Dicks. League chatter exploded—explicit names shouted—leading to what insiders now call the “Battle for Dixie,” a guaranteed annual Wk 2 showdown between Normous & Dicks.

[Danny Williams @AuburnDan33]

Coach Normous:

“We have seen mountain tops and valley lows this season, but I’m proud of this team. I’m committed to the Jayhawks now more than ever, I’ve seen what we can do at this university. It wasn’t the playoffs berth we dreamed of, but we’re well on our way.”
