@dougwburrell We were! And I did lol
The biggest takeaway I had in my prep for the draft was everyone was generally overvaluing QBs. Think you had a similar takeaway based on your public rankings you used to draft off of.
As happens every year, work and life don't allow me to stay active on here during the NFL season.
While life gets busy, it's always great to count your blessings this time of year.
Thank you to all those who supported the auction roadmap and made this donation possible.
I don’t mean to be the fun police…
But somebody needs to step in to make storming the field mean something again.
We are trending towards simply storming the field after every home victory at this point
Jayden Reed has a hell of an opportunity to be Jordan Love’s #1 target.
I think he’s going to seize that opportunity.
If he’s sitting on your wires, I’d grab him now (and start him if you’re in a pinch)
@TNFF_AuctionJoe I don’t think he “takes it over.” I’m not sure he takes much if any work from Monty on the ground. Maybe a couple more carries.
But there’s a lot of room to involve him more as a pass catcher without stealing from Monty. Take targets from Reynolds, Marvin Jones, etc.
Fantasy reactions to last night's game:
Monty = Jamaal from last year for now
Gibbs = Swift from last year for now. Expect his role will grow as year goes on to a Swift+ role
Laporta = likely a low end TE1/high end TE2. In dynasty, I'd be very excited about this start.
Chiefs RBs are probably going to be gross with 3-way usage all year.
However, Pacheco was probably being eased in, and his 4 targets were actually pretty encouraging (though they might have been a blip/inflated by no Kelce).
Pacheco may be a sneaky buy this week.
Chiefs WRs are Chiefs WRs, except there's probably not even a JuJu level guy here.
It will likely be spread too thin to rely on anyone, but if I had to bet on anyone to have relevance, it would be Toney in the short-term and Rice in the long-term.

My big home league auction was last weekend (SF, 2RB, 2WR, 2 flex, $200). My results...
QB: Allen 46, Fields 37, Kyler 5
WR: Hill 45, Higgins 23, Lockett 11, Dotson 5, Addison 3, Brown 3, Johnston 3
RB: D Cook 9, Perine 2, Charbs 3, Wilson 2
TE: Muth 2
Some thoughts⤵️
@rmax77 It didn’t help that one team took 6 (!) RBs for $10 or more… squeezed the supply and made it so others felt they needed to spend up on a few where values may have otherwise fallen.
@rmax77 Thanks!
If I could take one thing back, it would be taking the money from Cook and Lockett and grabbing Breece, or Lockett max QJ and getting Rachaad.
I thought I could find a bigger RB value eventually, but they never really dropped
Getting a solid TE in Muth for $2 was the cherry on top.
In total, I got $265 of value from my price sheet, including $220 in my initial starters.
I also have 2 roster spots that are easy to play with on waivers.
And RB will be an easy position to improve as the year goes on.
