@_Ungagged I'm furious about various tax avoidance loopholes too.
The non dom loophole & charitable status for public schools are the ones that get me.
@rainie1410 He does. It suits him to paint it that way. He knows that Mick Lynch represents workers who don't earn anywhere near that.
Divide & conquer.
โAs far as Iโm awareโฆโ which isnโt very far, because quite frankly I was off my tits, so I might have danced a jig naked with my underpants on my head for all I know.
@PippaCrerar Whit!
"As far as I'm aware, no Government business was discussed". So in other words he was blind drunk & could've discussed it.
It isn't the get out of jail he thinks it is.
@SconeOf The red wall in England seemed to think a pro brexit vote was sticking it to the privileged middle class.
Strange as those who led brexit were most definitely from a privileged class.
@SharpeShirley@Keir_Starmer Maybe if he gets in he could do something about non Dom owners pushing an agenda that is only for them & not their readers.
@SharpeShirley@Keir_Starmer I keep hoping (for England's sake) that he's rowing back on things like nationalisation of utilities & if labour get in he'll change tack.
Unfortunately the owners of the MSM control who is PM. Change can only occur if you have power.
@Balr0g It's amazing. An attack on his green card or his wife's previous non dom status might be more apt. Is it because Truss' backers might have the same status?
Today's Twitter Poll: If your TV got stuck on one channel and was unfixable, so you'd need watch only that for a year till your new telly arrived... which of these four public service broadcasters, would you be happiest if it was stuck on?
Apologies C5, I only have four options
@billtully I've seen a lot of tweets from English labour supporters & they're devastated. Most want utilities nationalised & to rejoin cu & sm. They feel as if they've no hope with labour if they continue on their present course.
@ArchbishopStua1 If Sunak got the gig the only benefit I could see would be that mad Nad & JRM might not be in the cabinet.
However it really isn't much of a benefit .
@ChloeABradfield I follow a lot of accounts from English people & they are anti Tory.
I think the time for working together has gone. Wm is like an abusive partner. They promise they'll change & don't.
I hope you get a government that's actually good for the people.
@miffythegamer I looked at some of the replies & have no idea if they were taking the mick.
They still seem to think of Dunkirk as being some sort of victory.
I was going to tell them about the Dutch navy sailing up the Thames & firing on parliament, but they would explode.
@jimgibs0n_2@BBCNews Wish some "journalist" would ask them about legal routes.
Also ask if any Afghans who were left behind after the fall of Kabul has used these routes.
