I am John Galt. Drifter through time and space. One of the forgotten men and women who are the backbone of this great country. Lurker on X. Not a bot 😛.
Broken Legs, Body Full of Shrapnel — He Still Got Every Man Out - Maj. James Capers, Jr. The First Black Marine Officer Nominated for the Medal of Honor Just Got It
@atensnut Somehow got 5. There’s tons of beautiful countryside to see in this country, why would anyone voluntarily put themselves in the midst of a concrete scar on the landscape?
I missed the tweet storm but I haven’t missed the fight.
This fandom has never stopped showing up. Your passion, your creativity and your refusal to let Stargate fade quietly into the gate room archives is something special.
So let’s keep going.
Post the photos. Tell the stories. Share the memories. Make some noise.
I’ll be doing my part and getting a little extra loud this week.
I’m with you.

Ten years ago, Elon Musk and Jack Ma both looked like avatars of the future.
Musk was building electric cars, rockets, satellites, and AI. Jack Ma was building Alibaba, the crown jewel of China’s internet economy.
Fast forward a decade: Musk is worth $1.1 trillion.
Jack Ma was forced into silence, Ant Group’s IPO was crushed, Alibaba lost its aura(its stock plunged by more than 60% since 2020), and China’s tech sector went from world-beating to politically domesticated.
One entrepreneur was allowed to compound.
The other was reminded who really owns the scoreboard.
This is not just a story about two billionaires.
It is a story about two systems. One system lets madmen build rockets to Mars.
The other cuts down its most successful entrepreneur for flying too close to the sun.
That is why Musk became the world’s first trillionaire.
And Jack Ma became a warning label.
@RichardGrenell democrats central ideological pillar is control of the masses by whatever is the currently most effective Machiavellian means, common sense is its opposite.
I finally put my finger on it all.
Maybe I’m the only one… but I’m overwhelmed with a “the buck needs to stop here” feeling.
I’m a huge Stargate fan, but I’m also a SciFi Fantasy nerd in general.
And I just feel like so many major IPs, that I dearly love, have been greatly mishandled by studios & executives of late.
Yet here was this shining opportunity. Green lighting the new Gero led return of Stargate got my hopes up. Giddy even. With Brad Wright and Joe Mallozzi on board too?!
Then the “rug pulled out from under us feeling” was bad enough… but the reported reasoning for the decision?! Just didn’t make sense. Based on what the creatives involved with the project had said in their interview re: taking great care to have broad appeal to newcomers while respecting what came before.
So enough. Line in the sand.
I wanna show them how wrong they are. Not by being a jerk… but by being consistent and rallying with this wonderful SG community. This family.
I’m dug in & ready for the long haul.
Because my heart just can’t take another hit to a beloved franchise.

Amazon's reported reason for canceling a Stargate project felt like an insult to the fans who kept the franchise alive. Telling the existing fanbase they are the problem, rather than the solution, lands as contempt, not business logic. #Stargate#FanCommunity#Media
Happy Birthday to the 45th and 47th President of the United States, Donald J. Trump. A relentless patriot who fights every day for the country he loves, the people he serves, and the American Dream. 🇺🇸🇺🇸
@horrormuseum No they didn’t, they stopped teaching for that day and wheeled a tv into every class and played that explosion on repeat. They were so busy identifying with the lost teacher they didn’t connect what they were doing to us.
Happy Birthday, Mr. President @POTUS 🇺🇸
Honored to serve under your leadership as we return America to the Moon, build a base on another world, prepare for where we go next, and inspire the next generation to carry the mission forward and do it even better.
@stoolpresidente Perils of not marketing your stars across the league as well as possible and being all LeBron all the time. NBA is a dying sport in desperate need of a PR makeover
