I did an away rotation at a government infectious disease hospital in India as a @umnmedschool student.

In my first 24h there I saw childhood polio, and a patient dying of tetanus. I saw diphtheria and pertussis—I had only learned about these diseases previously without ever seeing them…because of #Vaccines! Please let’s not go back.

Lots of posts about last night. Here is a throw back to a debate between Reagan and Mondale, when Reagan was questioned about his age and endurance. It was before my time, but I remember reading a biography about how Reagan's team worked hard to prep for this moment. I love how even Mondale laughed at his polished delivery.
