Lane Kiffin made it plain: the number one priority for @govjefflandry and the powers that be in Louisiana wasn’t our schools, our infrastructure, or our people — it was making sure LSU got a football coach they liked.
The governor told the public his priority was “protecting taxpayers” — even though taxpayers don’t pay coaches’ salaries directly. Meanwhile LSU just signed another $90 million contract with an 80% buyout. So much for fiscal responsibility.
I keep saying Louisiana ranks #50 because of the leadership we elect and what they choose to prioritize. Too many of us want to like the person we vote for or agree with them on every issue — and if we don’t, we stay home. Well, this is what you get when only 36% of voters show up and a governor “wins” with support from just 19% of registered voters.
Share this and make it the conversation. Because Jeff Landry doesn’t care about building a better Louisiana for all of us — just the ones who think like him. The rest of us are left holding the bag while he chases headlines.
The governor is polling under 40% and the antics keep coming — day after day. But some of y’all said Shawn Wilson “wasn’t exciting enough.”
Well, you’re getting all the excitement you asked for with Jeff Landry. Every. Single. Day.
Save the tweets, @SenBillCassidy. Your vote to confirm @RobertKennedyJr as Secretary of Health and Human Services helped put us right here. If children get sick because of these reckless decisions, that responsibility is yours. Courage, conviction, and common sense were required—and you showed none.
Common sense would’ve told you this is exactly how this administration would govern. Instead, you chose political survival over public health.
You were too afraid to stand up to MAGA after riding the fence with Trump during his last term, and now you’re worried about being primaried, so you won’t even vote from your knowledge as a physician. If you can’t stand on your training, your oath, or your convictions, what good are you in that seat? None.
I hope voters remove you from office next year and remind you that playing politics with the health and well-being of the American people always comes at a cost.
So this woman is claiming that immigrants are being kidnapped by masked men dressed in Military Fatigues & wearing tactical gear that are calling their families & demanding $20,000 to $30,000 dollars for their release! The Police have been called & just say it’s ICE! WTF 🤬
@Jfin19861@DetroitBabalawo Let’s talk about those opportunities after the chattle slavery period (1619-1865):
- northern states abolished slavery by 1804
- Land Grant opportunities of 1862
- Reconstruction - 8 years
- Black Codes Jim Crow (1865-1965)
- My father was born in 1935
@OhioSentry An executive order is not a law in the sense that it does not go through the legislative process. It is not binding on everyone, only on employees of the executive branch.
