As ppl on tik tok are discovering a letter left by a terrorist, as broken women are converting to Islam for the clicks, as the streets of every major city are filled w ppl unabashedly supporting Hamas, a lot of ppl are shocked and feel blindsided. I don’t, unfortunately. A lot of us saw this coming. We watched it play out like a head on collision in slow motion. We saw it all before in Egypt, Iran, Iraq, Libya, and Syria. We tried to warn you, but you didn’t listen. You called us hateful and told us our fears were irrational. This is the natural progression of encouraging your western societies to hate their civilization/values/and anyone w white skin while simultaneously protecting, empowering, and supporting extremism because of the Islamist coined term ‘Islamophobia’. It’s a tried and true tactic: Demonize anything western and celebrate anything Islamic. Your arrogance and your ignorance have brought you this far. Time to slam on the brakes.
Read “Unveiled: How Western Liberals Empower Radical Islam” for my personal account.
- 1979: #Israel withdrew from Sinai and all Egyptian territory. A majority of Egyptians are still inciting against Israel today despite the peace treaty.
- 1994: Israel signed peace with Jordan, where antisemitism levels today are on par with that in Europe in the 1930s.
- 2000: Israel withdrew from south Lebanon, which signed on the UN Blue line quasi border, UN certified Israel complied with UNSC 425. What did Israel get in return? 200k rockets trained at its civilians by Hezbollah, which just started a war on Israel last month.
- 2005: Israel withdrew from Gaza and handed more West Bank to the Palestinian Authority. What did Israel get? Hamas took over Gaza in 2007, engaged in 7 rounds of war in the last of which Hamas massacred 1,200 Israelis.
=> So, who exactly came up with the idea that if Israel only withdraws from the West Bank and East Jerusalem, Palestinians and Israel haters will take out their harps and start playing the hymns of peace?
At best, Palestine will be another Gaza under Hamas, this time with IRGC chief getting a balcony view overseeing all of Israel to better design his upcoming massacre of Israelis.
Before blaming Israel for the absence of peace, let's recognize and reward Israel for whatever steps it took for peace in the past, reciprocate, win Israel's trust, then assign blame if peace doesn't work out.
I remember when a trans-identified female walked into a school and murdered 6 innocent people, three who were only 9 years old. #TransDayOfRememberance
@hahussain Exactly. So many failed Arab states and this one small slice, with no oil, is so successful. It’s Middle Eastern bigotry. How dare the Jews, who are historically a beleaguered minority in the Middle East, have something good?
@JustinTrudeau This is a truly irresponsible post. You can’t just say breezily, “those whose lives have been taken…” without naming specific cases. I know there are none because if there were, the TRAs would have capitalized on them. And I guess so would you. But you should know better.
@michaelshermer The ideology that groups people into “oppressor” and “oppressed” - it’s been done before. In communist China it was “landlord” and “peasant”. Millions died in the political movements set into motion by this ideology. Do these people not get it?
@amyalkon I’m so sorry you experienced this crazy hatred, Amy…you’re so brave. That man needs to go to Gaza and see what it’s really like. They all do. Because they don’t really know what they’re talking about. These are people who need to learn things the hard way.
@HenMazzig I can’t believe anyone is still paying attention to that kid…she’s so arrogant and has no real life experience. Like the rest of them, mind you.
@shutter_lux @IMAO_ Yes the calls for ceasefire are aimed at Israel only…ignoring thousands of rockets raining down on Israel from Gaza. Also Hamas promising more massacres in case we’re in any doubt as to their intentions.
@GadSaad@JustinTrudeau@francoislegault@SPVM@Val_Plante Yes it’s utterly bizarre that when we are seeing unbelievable anti semitism some people are starting to shout Islamophobia - sorry what? That’s not what I’m seeing. Plus that’s not a thing, Iran made that word up to make people feel bad for criticizing jihad and fgm.
@ilovepreserves@preta_6 That is fully crazy. “Identify” is some notion but your profession is something that is hard earned, has standards, and is recognized by everyone. Thanks for pointing that one out.
@preta_6 So glad my tax dollars supported this kangaroo court. 🙄 I’m sorry you’re having to deal with this Orwellian nonsense Amy! Thank you for your courage and integrity. 🙏♥️
@GadSaad “Islamophobia”? The term invented by Iran? @YasMohammedxx It’s always trotted out when Muslims are spoken of with less than complete reverence. It’s to cow the rest of us because god forbid someone might accuse us of bigotry. Thank you for speaking truth Gad.
@MeghanEMurphy@mattgurney I HAVE been reading books on this - for 25 years! It’s clear that Jews were never safe in the Middle East and they weren’t safe in Europe, and they’re indigenous to Israel and they have tried and tried to accommodate the Palestinians, who won’t have it and voted for Hamas.
Many many years ago, I learnt Hebrew out of curiosity, and in a bid to penetrate into a world that I once thought was evil and conspiring against Arabs and Muslims. Once in, I was surprised how wrong I was, how wrong almost every Arab and Muslim around me was.
These days, I watch Hebrew networks (and Arabic ones). There is a lot of Israeli pain over those who were killed on 10/7, agony of those who survived, and anxiety over those who are held hostage by Hamas. A lot of tears, now mixing with tears over fallen soldiers fighting in Gaza.
The thing about all this Israeli pain is that it is almost exclusively in Hebrew. The world does not see Israelis hurt, does not hear them cry. The world sees Israel as fighter jets raining death to punish those who killed them from 15000 feet above ground. The world only sees and hears pain coming from Gaza, and the world always takes the side of the underdog, even when the underdog is guilty. One billion Muslims certainly have a much louder voice than 20 million Jews, and the world will always blame Israel, even when Palestinians started the carnage.
And that's exactly why Israelis are fighting the fight of their lives. They understand that the world is an unfair place, and that they cannot rely on non-existent international justice or biased global opinion.
I wish I had a magic wand to make fellow Arabs, and the rest of the world, see what I see. There will never be peace without justice, and using our numbers (Muslims) to impose our narrative is one way to try to beat Israel, but not the way to peace. My voice will dissent. I want peace, and peace is incumbent on winning the trust of those we want to live in peace with, not keeping on instigating the world against them.
