@StevePalazzolo_ I’ll bet Sorsby plays QB for Michigan this year. UM has nothing to lose in the way of scruples. Perfect fit. Also, solves their Underwood Remorse situation.
@CFBChuckk Not a better program in every way. UM Athletics is unethical. Still no reckoning for wrongdoing other than punishments given out by Washtenaw Country, the FBI and the NCAA. How’s the independent investigation going?
@No_Divots@GOLF_com@Top100Rick I don’t recall the walk as too bad. Could have just been a high energy day. Place put a spring in my step. We just loved it. No caddies though, push carts or carry it. Self sufficiency rules in the Netherlands.
@NUCLRGOLF It’s gotta be 2. If you say, 3, what does half a cup out mean, which you hear all the time. Also, I would think “one cup left” is synonymous with “a cup out”. And, I don’t see how 3 is “a cup out”.
@TJA4Michigan Most embarrassing part of the story seems to be someone blew the whistle on UM, a detailed investigation took place and only after the NCAA alerted UM was something noticed or done about it. That seems embarrassing. Covering up or willfully ignorant? Multiple choice question.
@CollegeFBPortal Taking a page out of Michigan’s playbook. Throw integrity and fair play in a pond. Turn your university into a punchline and watch honest alums be embarrassed to wear their colors in public places. It’s a choice for those with little to lose.
@AriWasserman NCAA relies on its member, which are universities, to monitor and follow the rules they helped write. When universities don’t, the NCAA is pretty helpless and our universities have failed us. See University of Michigan. #inapond#cheaters
@Flydog92 A choice. Self report, investigate, cooperate and agree to sanctions from the organization the universities voluntarily joined. Maybe vacate some wins. Or, be Xichigan and be known for cheating, lying, impeding compliance and destroying evidence. NCAA as strong as member orgs.
@jaylassoku The NCAA relies on its members (universities!) to look for infractions, self report, investigate and agree on sanctions. The NCAA is not a strict governing body and has no police force. Schools are supposed to do the right thing. Schools like TTech and Michigan are the issue.
@JBook_37@davebiddle A university and its athletic department should strive for that standard. Thats the correct way. Self policing organization, by design.
