Folks on bridging visa can work, pay taxes, live their lives. Folks in detention for no reason have to sleep as much as they can to help pass the time, costing tax payers millions.
Seems like a straightforward decision @ScottMorrisonMP. Where the bloody hell are you?
Now I wait, but why must I wait in detention? If I’m about to go to a third country as a refugee who has never committed a crime, don’t you think it would be easier for all of us if I waited in the community on a bridging visa, as most people who came by boat are?
What’s happening is that refugees are still in detention in Australia because this government won’t admit it’s wrong.
It’s the same mindset for #hometobilo & the minister is proving to be a very poor interpreter of the national interest. #auspol#insiders https://t.co/Pkxio0KWFu
9years2long. We've been locked up in Offshore & the park prison for 2 yrs by the Aus gov. For no crime!
All of us have serious physical & mental issues & we need to be free to heal & to get on with our lives!

The world will soon move on from the @AustralianOpen & 33 innocent refugees will watch the spotlight move away, from inside their airless prisons in the Park Hotel.
More Australians and much of the world now knows they’re there. But for how much longer?
Let them go.
It's said that destiny is a power beyond human control, regarded as predetermined by a supernatural power. It's said our fate is in the hands of God, but my case is different. My destiny is in the hands of the Minister.
Australians are paying $4m a year to hold one person within the Nauru offshore prison camp – a little over $11,000 per person per day.

"LET ME BE A FREE MAN,
Free to walk, free to study, free to work, free to trade where I choose, free to choose my own teachers, free to think and talk and etc for myself,
I have been in prison for the last 9 years now. For no crime.

The issue is not about the quality of the life in detention. The issue is detaining people without any explanation or reason. The issue is detention itself.
These normal everyday things that you don’t even think about we dream about I’m not asking for much I’m just asking for a life.

I can't even imagine the intimidation, frustration, anger & helplessness of having the PRIME MINISTER lie about you publicly. His intention was to silence any detainee who dares to speak up for themselves.
Call your MP & demand action. #FreeThemAll
The PM said: "I’m aware of one particular individual who has been the comment - focus of a lot of attention who is on such a pathway. I would be encouraging them to take up that permanent option–"
I suspect he's talking about me. I have taken that option. He's not letting me go.
Mr Morrison is a big liar,
I'm not a liar,
I got my refugee status 19th April 2019
If we aren't refugees why did they send us to the Offshore processing centres #NAURU & #MANUS ? Why did they Spend $billions$ there? Why did they tell us that we're refugees

Alex Hawke could also use his powers to:
• free 70 refugees who've been in detention for NINE YEARS
• grant 20,000 humanitarian places to Afghans fleeing persecution
• allowed Nades & Priya and their daughters to return #HomeToBilo.
He hasn't. 😠 #auspol#FreeTheRefugees
