Watch until the end when Jenni's dogs Stella and Lucy make an appearance.
A great conversation about teacher collective efficacy and students owning their learning in the time of Covid-19.
Thanks to @Jenni_Donohoo for her time
The rumors are true! Welcome back @Jenni_Donohoo to @SharingTheBrain for an extended convo on Teacher Efficacy in a COVID-19 world. Enjoy S2:E2! Thanks @MrGuthrieTweets for production efforts!

Great pic Jackie!
Now that we are all more comfortable with distance communication, what are you thoughts about distance mentoring?
We are working on a project for our doctorate in Texas & would like to know how comfortable you would be as a liaison between a program & students
When I use my new monitor, it's *almost* like we are face to face. Actually, when your peeps are in Taree, Deni, Albury and Sydney, you are rarely ever face to face. A silly selfie from our crew to yours to say happy Term 2 and #TeachersRock 🤘🏻
What is an effective mentoring program look like to you?
What are the crucial elements?
Are they effective on a large scale?

Wondering what this Covid19 crisis and subsequent move to online learning will do to recruitment and retention of the best students into the teaching field. I'd love to hear your opinion.

Matt, thank you! We obviously did not get the time conversion correct. We are in Texas and missed it. We are studying the recruitment of Aussie educators, specifically those that are ranked high on the ATAR and other factors.
We won't miss again!

In browsing @acereduau I found another interesting article about finding young students wanting to be teachers. Do you think that might be a topic for the next #AussieEd twitter chat? @aussieEDchat

Interesting article, any thoughts from our #AussieED friends?
Australia has a maths problem. What can we do about it? https://t.co/JuPc3liCHX via @canberratimes
I’d love to hear an #AussieED perspective on this... is it related to teacher recruitment?
