I never thought I would be happy with a financial error...in this case in the public's favour! JobKeeper to cost billions of dollars less than was anticipated. That means Australias debt not as great as feared. Let's not waste the savings!

[Proud OLD Soldier @GrumpyOLSoldier]

So Job Keeper was set up to help struggling businesses keep their staff during COVID19. LNP budgeted based on Treasury & ATO numbers it would cost $130b. Everyone who applied and qualified has got paid and it ended up only being $70b. Isn't that a good thing? 🤔

[Australian Government @ausgov]

As we start to get back out there, it’s up to all of us to stay COVIDSafe to reduce the risk of a second wave.

@macsween_prue @AlboMP @AustralianLabor This should be a good news event for all tax payers - but Labor - as usual - paint it as a negative

[Prue MacSween @macsween_prue]

Confected outrage of Leftie media & @AlboMP re the Jobkeeper $60b budget adjustment. “Embarrassing bungle” are the cries rather than acknowledgement of a business reporting error. Calls to spend the money underline how little @AustralianLabor understands this economic crisis

They say buy Australian Made.......I am proud to have bought 2 slabs of lindt chocolate at IGA.....Made in Germany....instead of Australian made Cadbury's.....you see lindt is not HALAL CERTIFIED....and after the siege in Sydney I doubt it ever will be....

With pressure mounting on Premier Palaszczuk over her controversial decision to keep the QLD border shut, Pauline Hanson has taken the step of engaging a lawyer for businesses to challenge the decision in the High Court.

We should be able to process our own iron ore and manufacture things from it, but we can't because our mfg businesses can't afford the energy costs. We export our raw materials & let other countries with cheaper pwr make things from it and sell them back to us. Madness!

[Prue MacSween @macsween_prue]

We’re all wanting to buy Australian made but is there truth in labelling? We want the whole production line to be from Aust not just goods using overseas products/ingredients assembled in Australia
