Who are the Australian Real Progressives? So far we are an informal organisation. We have six committed members that include the aged, queer and autistic.
We have a draft constitution, developing a campaign platform (almost complete) & two active campaigns using GetUp's tools
@malcolm_reavell@DrThalaSiren My reading of Tony Lawson positioning money as debt suggests it is not sociological naive. An inability to recognise the connection between money & taxes is both ceremonial & instrumental would be sociologically naive. ;)
@DrThalaSiren@malcolm_reavell How is this any different from Lin Ostrom's account of being ostracised from the commons when you break the rules? I argue it is not. I'd argue not recognising these are common sociologically instituted structures is naive.
Assange loses appeal. The US contempt for Australian opinion has never been shown in starker relief. In this alliance is our position really this weak - that both sides of our politics speaking together canโt get the Aussie releasedโฆ
This is just a test tweet to check things out. Things are happening behind the scenes. They're moving too slow for me personally but not much can be done about it. Oh well.

Here it is in black and white:
We don't need *any* new coal or gas mines to keep the lights on and power our economy. Thereโs enough in the system already.
So why, in the middle of a climate crisis, is Labor opening new coal and gas mines?
Yeah I was trying to automate all those tweets up until May but I ran out of patience with writing them. If you were tagged, it was because you appeared that you may be an ally
When the COVID supplement was in force it lifted people out of poverty, effectively doubling jobseeker. It only takes a quick act of parliament to #raisetherate & #btpm.
