Last week I started the day with a continuity delivery. Then went to clinic and saw saw a few newborns and some more senior patients and talked about MOST forms and decreasing polypharmacy. Ended the day with a nodular basal cell excision. (1/2)

Able to experience another great MAT training session with @MAHECwnc’s own Dr. Shukla. Bup is such an effective tool for managing #OUD. I’m saddened by the bad medicine that created a pandemic of OUD, but thankful I practice in an age with effective treatment.

I was motivated by the @thecurbsiders episodes re: alcohol use disorder and alcohol detox to utilize more of the AUDIT-C questionnaire, gabapentin ambulatory detox, and maintenance naltrexone therapy. Now have my first 3 patients doing well on the road to recovery. @CFMResidency
