My question is separate: what makes a particular behavior sinful under Jesus' teaching, and how do you establish that from Jesus rather than simply assuming the conclusion from a traditional list of sins?

@TCWfan @StandswithGod So when Elisha murdered 42 children for making fun of him, that was ok? You don't know how to apply Jesus's teachings to the old testament which is the whole point. Elisha FAILED to love his enemies and we should recognize that failure. The same with Samuel and the retaliation.
