For context: Currently using a KiloCam board to drive a light in a completely separate GoPro housing. Need to figure out at what point these two real-time clocks drift too far apart. So far, so good!

Settled in at the #WHOI postdoc and time for an update on #KiloCam. 1) New boards w/ serial comms = more power efficiency, 2) TopazLabs DeNoise AI works wonders on grainy photos, and 3) now syncing KiloCams with an external LED to monitor #coral spawning. Tests soon🤞

@MSCostantini Personally, I think the postdoc market, and maybe all of science, is shifting away from the expert mentality. I told the position I'm moving to that I am not an expert and they seemed to value that. Grad school shouldn't be the end of learning, and some PI's know that.

Your instructions list no file size limits for presentation files, but the upload portal says 30MB for .pptx, 5MB for .pdf, and 300MB for video files. These are really small files sizes for oral presentations. Any chance you can increase the limits? #sciencetwitter
