Yet the 765kV transmission line project doubles down on these unreliable renewables and ignores the need for more natural gas powered dispatchable energy generation. Thank you President @realDonaldTrump and @SecretaryWright for ending these subsidies. It’s time to reform the market in Texas!
🚨🚨!! FIRST AMENDMENT VICTORY !!🚨🚨
Myself, @Anastasia_esq, and the whole team @PacificLegal just won a case in the Southern District of Ohio with an opinion that had more references to burritos and tacos than a Taco Bell menu. 🌮

JUST IN! We won our lawsuit on behalf of a charity whose volunteer was put in handcuffs for handing a homeless man a burrito without a permit. It's a great First Amendment win. @PacificLegal@cgtown
But here's the best part... the "taco" test... 🌮
Ukraine appears to be dominating the OODA loop contest with Russia, Crimea having been turned from a strategic launching pad for Russia to a liability after six months of shaping operations and a month of focused attacks on Russian logistics.
Great news for Texas education: More high school students met grade-level expectations this year across every subject area, with progress across all student groups.
Last session, the Texas Legislature invested in classrooms, backed teachers, empowered parents, and put the focus back on learning with reforms like banning cell phones during the school day. The latest results show those measures are paying off.
More students are not only meeting grade level, but mastering foundational subjects like algebra, biology, English, and U.S. history—including among economically disadvantaged students, special education students, and emergent bilingual students.
Thank you to all the students, parents, and educators whose hard work is driving this progress and opening doors for the next generation.
The Texas House and Senate aren’t done supporting our students. Next session, we’ll continue working with Governor Abbott to build on this momentum so that every student graduates prepared for the opportunities ahead.
TEKS are up for revision this month but some can still be improved:
👉TEKS that use Social Studies methods to push a social justice agenda
👉TEKS that inaccurately report history out of political correctness
👉TEKS with overly broad or vague objectives

This is one of the BIGGEST issues facing Texas that nobody is talking about.
We have to take this seriously, and more importantly, take action.
We also need a competent leader to meet this problem head on. I will be having several meetings with ranchers in the district and leading experts in the coming weeks to make sure Texas can combat this threat.
First confirmed U.S. case of New World Screwworm found today in a calf in Zavala County, about 100 miles southwest of San Antonio.
We are working with the @TAHC, @USDA and partners statewide to respond.
