A special thank you to everyone who checked in on us during our medical emergency, reached out with kind words after our engagement, and showed us such overwhelming generosity in places as random as Love’s parking lots, IHOPs, Steak ’n Shakes, and Canadian hotel lobbies.
There are too many of you to tag in one post, but I will do my best in another, because the support we felt from this community deserves to be recognized. What could have been one of the most stressful and emotional stretches of our trip was made lighter by the people around us. Your messages, your concern, your encouragement, and your willingness to stop what you were doing to help reminded us just how special this community really is.
Storm chasing has introduced us to incredible places and unforgettable storms, but more than that, it has brought us some truly extraordinary people. We are deeply grateful for the way so many of you showed up for us, whether it was with a message, a hug in front of your streaming rig, or simply a moment of kindness when we needed it most.
Thank you for making space for the Northeast crew, for looking out for us, and for embracing that one Twitter “shitposter” some of you have somehow decided to tolerate. We will never forget the kindness we were shown out there.
See you next season. Or maybe this one. 👀👀👀
@Intini_WX@NWSLincolnIL@NWSLincolnIL will you guys be surveying this area? West of Effingham. I got some pretty convincing pictures between 9:15 and 9:25pm local time. I can confirm that this was not scud:
@Mighty__Muffins Because you make it a point to try to elevate yourself above others and it gets insanely irritating day in and day out. And before you say you don't, the gary SpongeBob gif/image is a prime example.
