The cases differ on facts and evidence.
Kyle Rittenhouse was chased, hit with a skateboard, and had a gun pointed at him while fleeing. Multiple videos showed clear imminent deadly threats. Jury acquitted on self-defense.
Karmelo Anthony entered a rival team's tent, was asked to leave repeatedly, said "touch me and see what happens," then stabbed Austin Metcalf in the chest after a shove. Jury rejected self-defense, convicted of murder.
Distinguishing them requires no soul-searching—just facts over race narratives.
Jeff Bezos: "If I do my job right, the value to society and civilization from my for-profit companies will be much, much larger than the good that I do with my charitable giving."
Meet Gauss: Our new in-house designed and built electric propulsion system.
Electric propulsion satellite thrusters have historically proven extremely difficult to produce in high volumes, causing supply chain fragility for national security and commercial constellation operators alike. We’ve already established the Gauss production line, designed to produce more than 200 thrusters per year, ensuring we can supply thrusters on demand in large quantities.
Nasa is less than 1% of the budget, but has revolutionized diagnostic scanning for health prevention, lasik surgery, cancer treatments, health monitor wearables, memory foam products, cell phone sensors, power tools, etc.
People's lives have improved because of a space program.
The existence of outer space is not something we “hear from the government.” It’s something we hear from every civilization, every scientist in this history of western civilization and before, every human being on the planet with the vaguest understanding of the universe, every one who’s ever been to space or looked at it through a telescope or who understands basic physics, not to mention our own common sense and observations. You are rejecting the sum total of human knowledge across time and across the world going back to the dawn of civilization itself, declaring the greatest geniuses in human history like Isaac Newton to be “retarded,” and you’re doing it based on no evidence, no discernible reason, no coherent thought process at all except just your own weird feeling that something is “off” coupled with whatever bullshit you saw on YouTube. You’re right that I shouldn’t call that retarded. It’s something even more deranged than that. I’m not sure there’s a word in the English language to capture it. So congratulations, you have stumbled on a form of stupidity so mind numbingly preposterous than it defies description.
It's actually a good thing we went to the Moon so long ago.
Before CGI existed.
Before AI existed.
Impossible footage to fake given 1960's technology.
Watching this blows my mind every time 🌕
“NASA lost the technology” is one of the most misunderstood quotes in conspiracy circles. They did not lose the ability to go to the Moon. They retired the Apollo hardware. The factories were shut down, the tooling was scrapped, and the workforce moved on. That is what happens when a program ends. You do not keep 1960s manufacturing lines running forever.
“Destroyed the technology” refers to the physical equipment and production capability, not the knowledge. The engineering documents, blueprints, mission data, and scientific records still exist. What was taped over were old magnetic telemetry tapes that stored raw engineering numbers, not the broadcast footage and not the mission itself.
If NASA wanted to rebuild Apollo today, they could, but it would be slower and more expensive than designing modern systems from scratch. That is why Artemis exists. It is not a reboot of Apollo. It is a new program built for long term exploration.
Nothing about this points to a hoax. It points to how large engineering projects work in the real world. The only people claiming it is “proof” of anything are the ones who never looked past a meme.
Soooooo many smooth brain people really think this is all fake. They have no idea the amount of blood and sweat being poured by many people all over the country, let alone the world. They’ll think it’s fake when Blue Origin lunar lander with humans touches down and they’ll think it’s fake when SpaceX’s Starship lands on Mars. Poor fools…..
It's ridiculous that NASA is launching a mission around the Moon this week that will send humans farther into space than ever before and it's getting almost no attention. A landmark moment in the history of our species. History books will care about this moment even if you don't.
BREAKING: @NASAAdmin just announced America is FINALLY going nuclear in space.
A first-of-its-kind mission called "SR-1 Freedom" will launch before 2028 using nuclear fission power to travel to Mars.
THIS IS HUGE
This is what happens when you put someone in charge who actually wants to GET THINGS DONE. 🇺🇸🚀
NASA is leading the greatest adventure in human history, and it has only just begun.
On Tuesday, we’ll share our plans for the future of NASA across many of our programs.
We’ll see you tomorrow morning for Ignition.
REPORTER: "If somebody enters a home and they are unarmed, a homeowner fears they are armed and then shoots and kills the person... would this... be reasonable?"
MP @LarryBrockMP: "I reject... the premise of that question. A lot of people conceal weapons when they enter a home."
First of all, this is an epic photo. Second, I believe the successful launch (and hopefully) landing of Blue Moon will be a pivotal moment in the space community's recognition that there's a real commercial race to the surface. Third, let's go!
False. With construction completed, OPG’s $12.8 billion Darlington Refurbishment is returning to service ahead of schedule and under budget. The additional work you mention was never part of the refurbishment project - rather, like any piece of critical infrastructure, Darlington will continue to receive ongoing investment and maintenance to ensure safe and efficient operation.
