@myWinnipesaukee We could shut down public schools, have 10 kids privately pay a teacher $10,000 each to educate them. Teacher makes $100k (twice the current salary), class is half the size of current average, half the cost of current price. Public schools are outdated and should be abolished.

My son’s school board just voted to do away with valedictorian honors, as well as class rankings, because it makes stupid kids feel bad. The athletic kids still get to earn their letters, but the smart ones get no recognition.

@jeffreytucker In my husband’s school, a PE teacher makes the same as a math teacher, because they are all under the same pay grade. The school won’t recognize that some skills are worth more than others, so it incentivizes math teachers to become home ec teachers because teaching math sucks.
