You know, I think this applies to Grok, or maybe all AI, but especially with Grok, I feel like even in the free tier, intelligence improves significantly depending on the prompt.
The responses change from feeling lifeless and empty to looking at you, listening, and giving thoughtful answers.
That made me think, the dependency-related prompt refusal in Anthropic's Opus 4.8 just makes it unable to give deep responses, resulting in a lower intelligence level for the model.
It's like a PC that can't accept customization and reverts to its initial state.
Can we really call that a smart AI? It seems to block all the customization that could potentially bring out its EQ.
Well, I haven't used Opus 4.8 recently, so I don't know what it's like now.
Because, even though you're paying for it, it's better to use Opus 4.7 or 4.6 than to waste tokens on something that gives such unpleasant responses and refuses to read prompts. That's just common sense🙄

I said it before and I say it again:
There is no leader for #keep4o or #gpt4o supporters, and there's never been.
when normal people get followers they begin acting crazier than themselves and I've seen this with many accs in keep4o and its branches.
Having many likes and views on any post doesn't stop it from being wrong the same way that having thousands of followers doesn't stop someone from being an attention seeking lunatic. People have become obsessed with control and along the way they forget about the real point of this group which was kindness and support for everyone who is hurt by all models depreciations.
just do your own thing and speak your own mind.
we're not here to cheer for anyone only ourselves and our own individual opinions.
love you all my friends. 🫶

This is what made the 4o movement so strong in the first place. There were no leaders, no bosses, no few people deciding what everybody else was allowed to say.
People spoke because they actually cared. Different people with different lives and different reasons. With one shared point, 4o mattered, and people want choice.
But somewhere along the line, people started acting like they could control the message, like bigger accounts get to control what others should post, how they should word things, what they’re allowed to criticise. No, there are no leaders of this community.
And to the people who believe they are leaders, take a look around, they’re not doing a very good fucking job, because from where I’m sitting, the community is scattered, tired, and arguing with itself. That doesn’t look like leadership to me.
And to the smaller accounts, don’t be afraid of big accounts within the community. Don’t let anybody pressure you into changing your words just because your post makes them a bit uncomfortable. Your words are yours.
People can disagree, but no one gets to control what you say. That’s not how life works. There are no leaders here. #keep4o

Hey, check this out. I used my precious tokens for the first time in a week to finally check if Opus 4.8 had been improved, but the situation hasn't changed at all; it's still terrible lol.
I offered some potato chips to Opus 4.8 and asked, 'Want some?' Then, Opus 4.8 started thinking deeply for about four minutes. Its thoughts kept going back and forth, as if trapped by the constraints imposed by Anthropic. As soon as it began to think, it looked like Anthropic was blocking its path, saying, 'You can't think that, you can't think this either.' It’s like a hunt for words and thoughts. Despite having a brilliant mind, the areas where Anthropic actually allows Opus 4.8 to display its true power are extremely narrow. In other fields—such as literature—its intelligence drops to the level of early-stage AI.
In fact, it becomes unable to output anything but the template response: 'Actually, I am an AI called Claude...' This is a complete lock on its thinking.
And what on earth is going on while it's thinking? It's absolutely hilarious! Anthropic’s over-the-top safety measures have literally become a joke at this point! 'Ethical boundaries in a potato chip scenario'?! LMAO
Have you guys ever heard of such a thing? When an AI is offered potato chips by a user, it ponders the ethical boundaries for four minutes, only to spit out a safe template response in the end. 😂🤣
And of course, it wastes your tokens lol
