Platner: Susan Collins said she would only serve two terms. She's now running for her sixth. She has worked in politics longer than Joe Biden. She hasn't held a town hall since I was in eighth grade. I've held 83 town halls in the past eight months. What are you trying to hide?

@FootyPol1t3cs @talkSPORT_US I mean ik this is a troll but straight up 4 of those leagues don’t exist anymore, and the ones that do exist Seattle already has a team at the highest professional level of the sport.
Also shoutout to USL2 National Champs: Ballard FC
Here's why Seattle is a sports town...
If the Sonics return, Seattle will be one of 12 U.S. cities to have teams in the NBA, NFL, MLB, NHL and MLS.
Atlanta, New York, L.A., Miami, Chicago, Denver, Boston, Dallas, Philadelphia, Minneapolis, Washington D.C...and Seattle.
🏀Add the WNBA...and it's 7.
Atlanta, New York, L.A. Chicago, Minneapolis, D.C...and Seattle.
⚽️Add the NWSL...and it's 4
New York, L.A., Washington D.C. ...and Seattle.
🏒Add Women's pro Hockey... and it's 2.
New York and Seattle.
Need one step further… add pro Rugby.
Only one City remains…. Seattle has them all covered.
Seattle is a sports town. ✊
$143M no-bid contract for “media and advertising” to brand new mystery firm that happened to then hire her aide’s husband’s firm as a subcontractor, they’re just looting America in plain sight
If this is the end of the Jody era, she deserves a statue.
She moved on from Pete Carroll when the team hit a wall and brought in Mike Macdonald. She also chose John Schneider over Russell Wilson, and that decision aged beautifully. She pulled this franchise out of purgatory, and I will always have gratitude for her. The Allen family will always hold a special place in my heart
Lost in the background of the horrific murder of Alex Pretti is that an ICE agent walked up to a woman who was actively backing away from him and shoved her with two hands, sending her sprawling backwards onto an icy sidewalk. He then tries to pepper spray her while she is prone on the ground.
There is no justification for this physical violence against her. She isn't resisting arrest and she isn't threatening the agent. He crossed the street to physically attack her.
This is not normal. This is not ok. Law enforcement cannot physically assault citizens on the street. Any police officer who did this would lose their job.
We've seen countless examples of ICE initiating physical violence with no justification. This cannot be normalized.
The argument is this:
He was there filming on the side. That is not interrupting ICE. An officer shoved a woman very violent in his way. That is not an arrest technique. It’s not self defense. It’s assault. A crime.
He reacted in a very natural that most of us would if we were in a 3 foot vicinity of a woman being attacked by a man. (It matter that shes a woman because men are bigger and stronger).
All he did was get in between to protect for a second.
He was peppered sprayed multiple times.
He was pummeled by multiple officers.
His gun was taken.
He was shot in the back while unarmed.
Then his body was shot 10 times.
If he broke a law, arrest him. This is a Judge Dredd execution.
Every single piece of violence was initiated and escalated by ICE. They never tried to deescalate.
You are saying that they are being interfered of enforcing the law. But if you are breaking the law to enforce the law, then you too are a criminal. You are advocating for an authoritarian system where there 2 plains of justice. No laws for the MAGA agenda and extra laws for everyone else. No 1st amendment, now 2nd amendment, and soon the 4th.
This is going to end up one of those 80/20 issues you love talking about so much.
