Congratulations to @WillScharf on his new role as White House Counsel.
A meaningful moment for Orthodox Jewish representation in America, and great to see someone from our community serving at the highest levels of government. Wishing him tremendous success in the new role.
Last night I had the privilege of joining @AgudahNews for the opening of their new Washington, DC office, just steps from the Capitol.
A great evening celebrating the power of advocacy, and connecting with leaders from Jewish communities across the country.
As our @AgudahNews Albany advocacy missions conclude, we’re grateful for three impactful days, including meetings with 60+ legislators and @GovKathyHochul. While Mission Days may end, our work continues week after week in Albany. Chag Kasher v’Sameach!
Advocacy in action. Spent the day in Albany with @AgudahNews meeting NY leaders on education funding, security, and standing up to antisemitism.
When our community shows up and stays engaged, our voice carries further. These conversations are how priorities turn into action.
It was a pleasure to sit down with @AgudahNews to discuss how to better support religious education.
A special shout-out to @ysilber for being recently listed in the @CityAndStateNY Brooklyn Power 100
Today Agudath Israel is kicking off the annual Albany Advocacy Day series with a group of constituents from Hudson Valley. Community members and Agudah representatives will meet with their representatives to advocate for their communities.
Agudath Israel Hudson Valley Albany Day delegation meeting with State Senator @PeterforNY19 to discuss issues of importance to the Jewish community, specifically antisemitism and ensuring due process rights for children with special needs are protected.
Agudath Israel Hudson Valley Albany Day delegation meeting with State Senator @NYSenatorWeber, they discussed antisemitism and other issues effecting the Jewish community.
Great spending some time in Monsey with @NassauExec Bruce Blakeman, visiting Yeshiva of Spring Valley and joining a fundraiser with @NYSenatorWeber. Important conversations about tuition, education funding, the federal tax credit, and what middle-class families need from Albany
This past week in DC, I met with Rabbi Yossi Charner and leaders from Agudath Israel of America to discuss the ongoing need to protect Americans’ religious freedom and Jewish communities by confronting rising antisemitism on college campuses and across our country.
In Congress, I’ve consistently supported bipartisan efforts to condemn antisemitism, reaffirm Israel’s right to exist and defend itself, and secure resources to protect Jewish institutions here at home.
I appreciate Agudath Israel’s advocacy and partnership and look forward to continuing our work together to keep communities safe and ensure accountability at every level of government.
@RepMikeLawler Thank you @RepMikeLawler!
It was great meeting with you in Washington and we always appreciate your accessibility and engagement. You’re a strong example of what it looks like when elected officials genuinely show up for their constituents and work hard to serve their interests.
This Thursday, I met with Agudath Israel of America to discuss ways we can continue supporting the Jewish community.
I’m proud to stand in solidarity with the Jewish community today and always.
