Omwami, enough with the theatrics. Sit down with Babu and all the principals and iron out your differences.
If Babu wants to lead his party, let him be the party leader, Then you the presidency, take the presidential ticket and build alliances with other parties. Stop forming a coalition within your own house.
You left ODM to build something better, not to repeat the same divisions.
Put Kenya before your egos. Unite, or risk disappointing the very Kenyans who believed in you. Kenya first. š°šŖ

123 passengers were stranded inside a Lufthansa Airbus A320-271N passenger plane (D-AINT) overnight atĀ MunichĀ airport of Germany on Thursday.
Although the plane was not far away from the warm terminal of MunichĀ (MUC), the passengers spent hours in the cold, without access to basic supplies.
FlightĀ LH 2446 was scheduled to depart for the Danish capitalĀ Copenhagen (CPH) at 9:30 p.m. on February 19.
Instead of a routine flight, the situation turned dramatic due to a complete logistical breakdown in ground service at the Bavarian airport.
Passengers were transported by bus to the plane's remote parking lot despite repeatedĀ flightĀ delays .
The plane was supposed to finally take off just before midnight, but it never happened. It was only after the people were loaded on board that the crew informed them thatĀ the flightĀ was canceled.
Crew informed the passenger that all the bus drivers had gone home and the passengers were not allowed to leave the plane.

19 February 1985. China Airlines Flight 006, Boeing 747SP-09 N4522V survived a 30,000-foot plunge over the Pacific Ocean near San Francisco following failure of the No. 4 engine, while cruising at 41,000 ft. Twenty-four occupants were injured.
Córdoba Airport (LEBA/ODB) of Spain reopens this Saturday after closing a week ago due to the Guadalquivir River flooding with the passage of the Leonardo storm.
The rise in the Guadalquivir's water level (flooding of the Guadalquivir River exceeded 5.6 meters in height) caused part of the runway (03/21) to flood and be affected by mud.
Aena has announced on the social media networks that those who plan to fly from this Saturday,Ā should check with their airline the status of the flight.
The airport staff worked "intensely to return to normality as soon as possible", afterĀ the water table was "very high" at the beginning of this week and complicated "the elimination of water and the recovery of operability in safe conditions".

āļø Understanding the Aircraft Wing ā A Simple Guide
An aircraft wing isnāt just a flat surface that keeps a plane in the air. Itās a highly engineered system built to generate lift, provide control, enhance safety, and maximize efficiency throughout every phase of flight.
Hereās a breakdown of its key components:
š¹ Winglet
Found at the tip of the wing, the winglet reduces drag by limiting wingtip vortices. The result? Better fuel efficiency and improved performance.
š¹ Slats (Leading Edge)
Positioned at the front of the wing, slats extend forward during takeoff and landing. They increase lift at lower speeds and help delay aerodynamic stall.
š¹ Flaps (Trailing Edge)
Located at the rear of the wing, flaps extend downward to increase both lift and drag. This allows the aircraft to fly safely at slower speeds during takeoff and landing.
š¹ Ailerons
These control the aircraftās roll. When one aileron moves up, the other moves down, allowing the aircraft to bank left or right.
š¹ Spoilers
Mounted on top of the wing, spoilers disrupt airflow to reduce lift. They assist with descent control and help slow the aircraft after landing.
š¹ Ground Spoilers
Fully deploy after touchdown to eliminate remaining lift. This transfers weight onto the wheels, improving braking effectiveness.
š¹ Flap Track Fairings
The streamlined structures beneath the wing that house and protect the flap mechanisms while minimizing drag.
š¹ Static Wicks
Small rods along the trailing edge that discharge static electricity, preventing interference with aircraft communication systems.
š¹ Hydraulic System
Powers the movement of slats, flaps, spoilers, and other control surfaces, ensuring smooth and reliable operation.
āļø The aircraft wing is a finely balanced structure, carefully designed to manage lift, drag, stability, and efficiency ā all working together to keep every flight safe and controlled.

100-TONNE TAKEOFF WEIGHT ERROR CAUSED B777 TAIL STRIKE AT MILAN
On 9 July 2024, LATAM Boeing 777-300ER PT-MUG struck its tail during takeoff from Milan Malpensa after departing with performance data based on a 100-tonne weight error.
Investigators found the crew used 228.8 tonnes instead of the correct 328.4 tonnes when calculating takeoff performance for SĆ£o Paulo.
The incorrect weight was verbally confirmed and entered into both pilotsā electronic flight bags. Since both devices used the same wrong figure, cross-checks matched and masked the error. No comparison was made with the loadsheet or FMC data.
The consequences were immediate:
⢠Reduced thrust setting
⢠Invalid performance solution (āV SPEEDS UNAVAILABLEā)
⢠Rotation and V-speeds far below safe values
Correct speeds should have been approximately:
V1 ā 172 knots
VR ā 181 knots
Instead, rotation began around the mid-140 knot range.
The aircraft pitched to 8.3° nose-up within seconds. Tail-strike protection activated, but the tail contacted the runway at about 160 knots.
By then the aircraft had passed the (incorrectly calculated) V1, making a rejected takeoff impossible.
A third pilot in the cockpit called for full TOGA thrust roughly 12 seconds after rotation began. The aircraft finally lifted off at 178 knots with only ~800 metres of runway remaining, crossing the opposite threshold at just 155 feet.
The crew declared an urgency, dumped 72 tonnes of fuel and returned safely. All 398 occupants were unharmed.
The event was later reclassified from serious incident to accident due to structural damage found during inspection.
Around 30 minutes after the departure, a Hainan Airlines Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner (B-1546) returned back to Brussels AirportĀ (BRU)Ā of Belgium after necessary fuel dumping at 10,000 feet.
The inflight event took place when the aircraft was operating flight HU492 from Brussels to BeijingĀ (PEK) at FL370 on 06 February 2026. Further details awaited.
