ታሪኽ ቃልሲ ህዝቢ ኤርትራ ንናጽነት፡ ብመሰረቱ ነቲ ብዓለም-ለኻዊ ማሕበረሰብ ዝተፈጸመ “ታሪኻዊ ጸሊም ቆጽሊ” ንምእራም ዝተኻየደ መሪርን ስነ- መጐታውን ተጋድሎ እዩ። እቲ ኣብ 2 ታሕሳስ 1950 ብውድብ ሕቡራት ሃገራት ዝጸደቐ ውሳነ 390 A(v)፡ ተራ ናይ ወረቐት ስምም�� ዘይኮነስ፡ ንመጻኢ ዕድል ሓደ ህዝቢ ኣብ ናይ ረብሓታት ዋጋ-ዕዳጋ ዘእተወ፡ ንልኡላውነት ሓንቲ ሃገር ድማ ብቐለም ጥራይ ዝቐበረ “ዲፕሎማሲያዊ መላጸ” ነበረ። እዚ 75 ዓመት ገይሩ ዘሎ ውሳነ እዚ፡ “ብቐለም ዝተጻሕፈ” ዝበሃለሉ ምኽንያት፡ ኣብ ��ንዲ ኣብ ድሌት ህዝቢ፡ ኣብ ጂኦ-ፖለቲካዊ ሽርሕታትን “ናይ ፖለቲካ ሃተምተም”ን ተመርኲሱ ዝተሃንጸ ስለ ዝነበረ እዩ። እቲ ውሳነ ኣብ መንጎ “ሕጋዊ ሓቂ”ን “ስትራተጂካዊ ስሰዐ”ን ዝተኻየደ ቅልስ ኮይኑ፡ ኣብ መወዳእታ ግን ፍትሒ ብቐለም ዲፕሎማሰኛታት ተዓቢጣ፡ ንኣርባዕተ ዓሰርተታት ዓመታት ዝቐጸለ “ናይ ባሩድ ወለዶ” ወሊዳ። እዚ ውሳነ እዚ፡ ንኤርትራውያን ከም ሰባት ዘይኮነስ ከም “ናይ ጂኦ-ፖለቲካዊ ባጤራ” (Geopolitical Currency) ብምርኣይ፡ ኣብቲ ዝሑል ውግእ ዓለም ከም መጋበሪያ ክጥቀመሎም ዝተፈረመ “ናይ ሞት ብይን” እዩ ነይሩ።

ንውሳነ390 A(v) ብዓሚቝ“ሕጋዊ መስትያት” ክንትንትኖ ከለና፡ እቲ ቀንዲ መበገሲኡ ድሕሪ ካልኣይ ���ግእ ዓለም ዝተፈጥረ “ሞራላዊ ግርደት” (Moral Eclipse) እዩ። እቲ ውሳነ ክሕንጸጽ ከሎ፡ እቶም ዓበይቲ ሓይልታት ንኤርትራ ከም ህያው ሃገር ዘይኮነስ፡ ከም ሓንቲ ኣብ ገምገም ቀይሕ ባሕሪ እትርከብ “ስትራተጂያዊት ወተሃደራዊት ባንክ” ገይሮም እዮም ርእዮማ። እቲ “ታሪኻዊ ክሕደት” ዝበሃል ኣምር ድማ ካብዚ ዝነቐለ እዩ። ዓለም ንኤርትራ ብዓይኒ ረብሓታት ሃገራት ምዕራብን መሻርኽተንን ጥራይ ስለ ዝጠመተታ፡ እቲ ንህዝቢ ኤርትራ ዝግባእ ዝነበረ ተፈጥሮኣዊ መሰል ርእሰ-ውሳነ(Self-determination) ብርኡይ ተረጊጹ። እቲ ብጆን ፎስተር ዶልስ ዝተገልጸ “ረብሓታት ሕቡራት መንግስታት ኣመሪካ ኣብ ቀይሕ ባሕሪ፡ ንኤርትራ ምስ እሙን ፈታዊና ክንቈርና የገድደና” ዝብል ምስክርነት፡ ነቲ ብቐለም ዝተጻሕፈ ጥልመት ዝተሃንጸሉ ሸፈጥ ግሉጽ መርኣያ እዩ። እዚ ማለት፡ እቲ ወረቐት ክፍረም ከሎ፡ እቲ ቀለም ገና ከይነቐጸ፡ እታ ሃገ��� ድሮ ኣብ ዋጋ-ዕዳጋ ተሸይጣ ነይራ ማለት እዩ።

እቲ ውሳነ ንኤርትራ ምስ ኢትዮጵያ ብፈደረሽን ክትቁረን ክውስን ከሎ፡ ባዕሉ ንባዕሉ ዝበላላዕ “ትካላዊ ግርምቢጥ” (Institutional Paradox) እዩ ፈጢሩ። ሓንቲ ብደረጃ ትካላዊ ኣሰራርሓ፡ ቅዋም፡ ፓርላማ፡ ሰልፍታትን ናጻ ፕረስን “ዲሞክራስያዊ ዲ-ኤን-ኤ” ዘጥረየት ኤርትራ፡ ምስ ሓንቲ ብፍጹም ንጉሳዊ ስርዓት እትመሓደር “ናይ መግዛእቲ ሕልና” ዝነበራ ኢትዮጵያ ክትቁረን ምግባሩ፡ እቲ ውሳነ ካብ መጀመርያኡ ፍሽለት ዝተፈርዶ “ሕጋዊ መጻወድያ” ምዃኑ የርኢ። እዚ ፈደረሽን እዚ፡ ኢትዮጵያ ንኤርትራ ክትውሕጥ “ሕጋዊ ሽፋን” (Legal Cover) ጥራይ እዩ ዝህብ ነይሩ። ውድብ ሕቡራት ሃገራት ነዚ ውሳነ እዚ ብቐለም ክፍርመሉ ከሎ፡ ኢትዮጵያ ነቲ ውዕል ክትጥሕሶ ከላ ጣልቃ ኣትዩ ክከላኸል ዘኽእል ዋላ ሓደ “ሕጋዊ ዋልታ” (Enforcement Mechanism) ኣየቐመጠሉን። እዚ ድማ እዩ ነቲ ውሳነ ካብ ፍትሒ ዘርሓቖን ናብ “ወረቐታዊ መግዛእቲ” ዝለወጦን። እቲ ውሳነ፡ ንኽልተ ዘ��ተፋቐሩ ኣካላት ብጓኖት ተፈሪሙ ዝተዋህቦም “ናይ ሓይሊ መውስቦ” (Forced Union) እዩ ነይሩ።

ካብ1952 ክሳብ 1962 ዝነበረ ናይ ፈደረሽን እዋን፡ እቲ “ብቐለም ዝተጻሕፈ ጥልመት” ብግብሪ ዝተሸራረፈሉ ዓመታት እዩ። ህዝቢ ኤርትራ ነቲ ብቐለም ዝተጻሕፈ ውሳነ፡ ብቐለም ጥርዓናት ክከላኸለሉ ዘይገበሮ ዲፕሎማሲያዊ ቅልስ ኣይነበረን። ብኣሽሓት ዝቑጸሩ ፌርማታት ዝሓዙ ጥርዓናት ናብ ውድብ ሕቡራት ሃገራት ተላእኩ፤ ሰላማዊ ሰልፍታት ተኻየዱ፤ ዲፕሎማስያዊ ልኡኻት ናብ ኩሉ ኩርናዓት ዓለም ተዋፈሩ። እንተኾነ፡ እቲ ዓለም-ለኻዊ ማሕበረሰብ ነቲ ብቐለም ዝተጻሕፈ ሕቶ ህዝቢ ኤርትራ፡ ብ”ዲፕሎማሲያዊ ስቕታ”ን ዕሽሽ ምባልን መለሰሉ። ፍትሒ ብወረቐት ክርከብ ከም ዘይክእል ምስ ተረጋገጸ ድማ፡ እቲ ብቐለም ዝተባረዐ ሸፈጥ ናብ “ደማዊ መኣረምታ” ክሰጋገር ግድን ኮነ። እቲ ወረቐት ምስ ፈሸለ፡ እቲ “ናይ ቀለም ቃልሲ” ተዛዘመ። እታ ዓለም ብቐለም ዝፈረመትሉ ወረቐት፡ ንህዝቢ ኤርትራ ከም “ናይ ባርነት ዓንቀጽ” ኮይና ስለ ዝተሰምዓቶ፡ ነቲ ቀለም ብደም ክሓ��� ወሰነ።

ብ1 መስከረም 1961 ብሓርበኛ ሓምድ ኢድሪስ ዓዋተ ዝተወለዐ ፈላሚ ብረታዊ ቃልሲ፡ ትርጉሙ “ነቲ ብቐለም ዝተጻሕፈ ጌጋ፡ ብባሩድ ክንእርሞ ኢና” ዝብል ነበረ። እዚ ታሪኻዊ ምስጋር እዚ፡ ውጽኢት ናይቲ ንዓሰርተታት ዓመታት ዝቐጸለ “ናይ ሕልና ክሕደት” እዩ። እታ ቀዳመይቲ ጥይት፡ ነቲ ውሳነ 390 A(v) ዝተባህለ “ወረቐታዊ ሰንሰለት” ዝቐደደት “ናይ ፍትሒ መላጸ” ነበረት። ህዝቢ ኤርትራ፡ እቲ ዓለም ክትሰምዖ ዝኣበየት ሕቶ፡ ብድምጺ ባሩድ ምስ ተጻሕፈ ጥራይ ከተንብቦ ከም እትኽእል ስለ ዝተገንዘበ፡ ነቲ ዓለም ብቐለም ዝጸሓፈቶ “ታሪኻዊ ሓሶት”፡ ብደሙ ዳግም ክጽሕፎ ጀመረ። እዚ ዳግመ-ጽሕፈት ታሪኽ ድማ፡ ንሰላሳ ዓመት ዝቐጸለ “ደማዊ ስነ-ጽሑፍ” ሓቲቱ ። እቲ ኣብ ወረቐት ሰፊሩ ዝነበረ መታለሊ ጽሑፍ፡ ኣብ ጎቦታት ኣዳልን ናቕፋን ብእተጻሕፈ “ናይ ሓርነት ግጥሚ” ተተክአ።

ንሰላሳ ዓመታት ዝተኻየደ መሪር ብረታዊ ቃልሲ ህዝቢ ኤርትራ፡ ነቲ ብውሳነ 390 A(v) ዝተጻሕፈ “ሕጋዊ ሰንሰለት” ብሓይሊ ንምብጣስ ዝተኻየደ ናይ ጽንዓት ፋብሪካ እዩ። እቲ ቃልሲ፡ ንኤርትራውያን ካብ ተማጐትቲን ኣማረርትን ናብ ናይ ዕድሎም ወሰንቲ (Masters of Destiny) ቀዪሩና��� እቲ ልኡላውነት ካብ “መንበረ- ስልጣን” ዓበይቲ ሃገራት ዘይኮነስ፡ ካብቲ ኣብ ጎቦታትን ስንጭሮታትን ኤርትራ ዝፈሰሰ “ቅዱስ ደም ሓርበኛታት ጀጋኑ” ክበቊል ጀመረ። እቲ ዓለም ንኤርትራ ከም ታሪኻዊት ኣካል ኢትዮጵያ ክትርእያ ዝጸሓፈቶ ትረኻ፡ ብግብራዊ ጽንዓት ህዝቢ ኤርትራ በርዒኑስ ብናይ ናጽነት ትረኻ ተተኪኡ። እቲ ብቐለም ዝተሓንጸጸ ሸፈጥ፡ ብደማዊ ማሕተም ጀጋኑ ተሓቲሙ ንሓዋሩ ተደምሰሰ። ��ንዴራ ኤርትራ ድማ፡ ምስ ካልኦት ልዑላውያን ሃገራት ተሰሪዓ፡ ኣብ ሰማያት ኣብ ቤት ጽሕፈት ውድብ ሕቡራት ሃገራት ኣንበልበለት። ሎሚ ኤርትራ ኣብ ካርታ ዓለም ዘላቶ ቦታ፡ ብቐለም ዝተሳእለ ዘይኮነስ፡ ብደም ዝተሓተመ “ናይ ሓርነት ጂኦግራፊ” እዩ።

ኣብ መወዳእታ፡ ኣብ 1993 ዝተኻየደ ረፈረንዱም፡ 99.8% “እወ ንናጽነት” ብምድማጽ’ዩ፡ ኣብ ዓለም መወዳድርቲ ብዘይብሉ እጹብ ድንቂ ውጽኢት ተዛዚሙ። እዚ ከኣ፡ ነቲ ብደም ዝተጻሕፈ ታሪኻዊ መኣረምታ፡ “ናይ መወዳእታ ሕጋዊ ነጥቢ” ዝሃበ ፍጻመ ኮነ። ቁሩብ ንድሕሪት ምልስ ኢልና ታሪኽ ንምዝካር፡ ውጽኢት ረፈረንዱም ኣብ ዝተገልጸሉ ቅንያት፡ ናይ ሽዑ ዋና ጸሓፊ ግዝያዊ መንግስቲ ኤርት�� ተጋዳላይ ኢሳይያስ ኣፈወርቂ፥

“ህዝቢን ሃገርን ኤርትራ ድሌቶም ብሕጋዊን ሰላማዊን መገዲ ከይገልጹ ንነዊሕ ዓመታት ተሓሪምዎም ጸኒሑ እዩ። በዚ ከኣ ከቢድ ዕንወት ዘስዓበ ነዊሕ ኲናት ተኻይዱ። እዚ ረፈረንዱም’ዚ እምበኣር፡ ኣብ ክንዲ ድሌት ህዝብታት ንምዕምጻጽ ሓይሊ ምጥቃም፡ ጉዳያት ብፖለቲካዊን ሰላማዊን መገዲ ምፍታሕ ስልጡን ኣገባብ ምዃኑ ንኹሉ ��ምህርቲ ዝህብ’ዩ” ክብል ገሊጹ ነይሩ።

እቲ99.8% “እወ ንናጽነት” ዝብል ድምጺ፡ ነቲ ውሳነ 390 A(v) ንሓዋሩ ናብ “ጐሓፍ ታሪኽ” ደርበዮ። ዓለም ከኣ፡ ድሕሪ 43 ዓመታት፡ ነቲ ብቐለም ዝፈጸመቶ “ዲፕሎማሲያዊ ገበን” ተኣሚና፡ ንኤርትራ ከም ልዑላዊት ሃገር ክትቅበላ ተገደደት። እዚ ድማ፡ እቲ “ብቐለም ዝተጻሕፈ ናይ 40 ዓመታት መግዛእቲ”፡ ብጽንዓትን መስዋእትን ተሳዒሩ፡ ሓቀኛን ዘይድምሰስን ልኡላውነት ኤርትራ ብኸመይ ከም ዝተረጋገጸ ዘጉልሕ ዓቢ ዓወት እዩ። እቲ ወረቐት ነቒጹ፡ እቲ ቀለም ተሓኺኹ፡ ኤርትራ ግን “ብደማ ተሓቲማ” ጸኒዓ ኣላ። ሎሚ ልኡላውነት ኤርትራ ብወረቐት ዝተዓደለ ህያብ ዘይኮነስ፡ ብደም ዝተጻሕፈ “ዘይሕከኽ ናይ ታሪኽ ሰነድ” እዩ። እቲ ብ390 A(v) ዝተጀመረ “ዲፕሎማሲያዊ ጸልማት”፡ ብጽንዓት ህዝቢ ኤርትራ ተቐዲዱ፡ ብናጽነት ዝተሓትመ “ናይ ፍትሒ ብርሃን” ነጊሱ ኣሎ።

President Isaias Afwerki met, at the Government Guest House in the late evening hours yesterday, Prime Minister Dr. Kamal Idris for extensive discussions on latest developments in the Sudan as well as status and progress of bilateral ties between the two countries.

President Isaias reiterated Eritrea's commitment in supporting Sudan in its efforts to overcome the prevailing heavy challenges. Prime Minister Dr. Kamal, for his part, expressed the Sudanese people's profound appreciation for Eritrea's historic and principled stance.

President Isaias Afwerki also met with the Governor of the Darfur Region, Mr. Minni Arko Minnawi and Dr. Al-Tijani Al-Sissi. The discussions focused on the overall situation in Sudan and possible pathways for resolving the current crisis.

Capacity upgrading training for teachers

As part of the effort to ensure quality education provision, capacity upgrading training has been provided to 500 teachers in Hagaz sub-zone.

The objective of the training, which covered lesson planning, teaching methodology, teachers’ ethics, teaching and classroom management, documentation, and material management, was to enhance teachers’ capacity and develop the teaching-learning process.

Indicating that efforts have been exerted to organize capacity upgrading training for teachers, Mr. Idris Abdu, head of the Education Office in the sub-zone, said that the program will have significant contribution, especially in supporting newly assigned teachers in their teaching careers.

Mr. Elias Eyob, coordinator of the program, called on the trainees to apply the knowledge they gained from the training in the development of the teaching-learning process.

In related news, as part of the effort to enhance the vocational capacity of youth and enable them to become self-supportive and productive members of society, a three-month vocational training has been provided to 57 youth in Haikota sub-zone. The training covered computer technology as well as solar system installation.

Mr. Marikos Girmatsion, acting head of the National Union of Eritrean Youth and Students branch in the Gash Barka Region, said that the training was part of the effort to develop the overall capacity of the youth and called on the trainees to practically apply and further develop their skills.

Noting that the vocational training programs being organized from time to time will have significant contribution in improving the livelihoods of youth and their families, Mr. Shekedin Salah, administrator of the sub-zone, called on the trainees to apply the knowledge they gained from the training to improve their livelihoods.

Potemkin Party's propaganda machine is on overdrive mode particularly these days to churn out a deluge of disinformation against Eritrea on a daily basis.

The menu/themes broached revolve around the same stale topics: revision of Eritrea's ancient, medieval & modern history to hoodwink public opinion and thereby "legitimize" the regime's illicit agenda of "sovereign access to the sea"; re-packaging of its reckless and adventurist agenda in the mantle of "self-defense"; distortion of Eritrea's normative diplomatic and economic cooperation ties in the wider neighborhood as "conspiracies" against Ethiopia; and disparaging of Eritrea's governance architecture and unparalleled social/national cohesion in its wholesale campaign of demonization... etc.

But while the themes remain the same, the new element in its latest disinformation spree is using official platforms - Foreign Policy Institute; Ethiopian Broadcast Corporation etc. - in lieu of unofficial mouthpieces (Horn Review; notorious lobbyists' and trolls ) that were the principal vehicles in the past.

1. First off, it will be pointless to waste time on mythology and manufactured narratives in as far as Eritrea's ancient, medieval and modern history are concerned. For serious students of history, there is indeed expansive literature based on rigorous archeological findings and interpretations on the Kingdom of Punt (from 1500 - 500 B.C.) that encompassed parts of modern Eritrea, Sudan, Djibouti, and extending toward Egypt); and the Adulis Civilization (300 B.C. - 700 A.D.) which predates and was latter concurrent, with sporadic linkages, to the Axumite Kingdom (300 - 700 A.D.). Historical reading of medieval and modern periods likewise illustrate that Ethiopia's meaningful presence in the Red Sea were confined to the unlawful Federation and Annexation periods that came about through the denial of Eritrea's right to decolonization. As such, there is no historical, legal, security or commercial rationale for its reckless and illicit of agenda of "sovereign access to the sea".
2. In this perspective, the Potemkin Party's new-found ploy to accuse Eritrea of "perennial subversion" stems from its transparent desire to change tack so as to rationalize its war agenda as "an act of self-defense". Indeed, official statements issued on the 25th Anniversary of the Algiers Agreement by the UN, the European Union, and several other countries have unequivocally reiterated the foundational principle of full respect for the sovereignty and territorial integrity of nations as the normative parameter of international relations. PP's nominal change of tone and tactics is evidently designed to circumvent this explicit and unambivalent position.
3. The Potemkin Party is further feigning annoyance on speculative cooperation and port development agreements that Eritrea "has reportedly" reached with Egypt, Saudi Arabia etc. In the first place, Eritrea's cooperation policies with prospective partners from the region and the wider world are based on cardinal principles of symmetry and mutual interest. And as it is the case with other countries, they stem from, and are predicated on, its own prerogatives and national interest considerations. Eritrea's positive and constructive stance on the cooperation of the littoral States of the Red Sea in order to enhance the safety and security of this important global maritime route is also well-known and in the public domain. As such, it cannot be misconstrued for nefarious political ends.
4. Eritrea has been and remains an oasis of national cohesion, peace and harmony that leverages ethnic and religious diversity as an asset rather than a liability for stoking perpetual tension and conflict among its constituent parts. The Potemkin Party, which is presiding over spiraling internal conflicts due to governance deficit, is not, and cannot be, in a position to disparage Eritrea on these and other accounts.
5. In a nutshell, it is the Potemkin Party's misguided policies that are at the root cause of the manufactured "crisis". As it is, the panacea does not lie in finger pointing at, or scapegoating, Eritrea; but in rectifying its reckless agenda of "sovereign access to the sea".
