'0-1 years experience' in the title. You click apply, fill everything out, and there it is: '2-3 years required.'
'Internship' with a full-time workload attached. Unpaid, but somehow the responsibilities read like a manager's job description.
The job market lies to you first.

@demmie_ojay I had an interview before, I got rejected.
They provided feedbacks on my strengths and areas of improvement, i used 1 month and made the improvement.
Applied again, a month later, rejected again with new areas of improvement i wasn't expecting, this job hunting is not funny 😂

How I keep pushing:
I show up regardless. I apply even though rejection is the order of the day. I keep learning through every 'no.' And somewhere deep down, I still believe the offer is coming.
Not because it's easy. Because I haven't found a good enough reason to stop.

What I'm proud of, regardless:
Every rejection taught me something. That process alone built 2 solid portfolios for two different paths I'm going for.
And honestly? I like who I am now more than I was 5 years ago.

I think there will be an orientation soon with all NYSC employers to discuss and improve the welfare of corp members, issue of accomodation and monthly stipend etc, though I only know of Niger state I can't say for other states.
