There are some people who could hear you speak a thousand words, and still not understand you.
And there are others who will understand , without you even speaking a word..
UNDERSTAND:
Some people were only meant to pass you by; some were only meant to stay as poetry; some were only meant to teach you how to let go.
Learn your lesson: loosen your grip, let your heart breathe. It’s time to close the book.
The South Sudanese Community as a whole🇸🇸 need to learn to let successful junubin women be successful , Sudo women without trying to compare them to others, dim their lights to “humble” them, or try to sabotage their success because of someone else’s shortcomings.

You are beautiful if you are still finding yourself. You are beautiful if you are making mistakes. You are beautiful for trying your best everyday. You are beautiful for being yourself. You are beautiful for allowing yourself to heal. You are beautiful for prioritizing yourself.
I earned a degree at 33, I'm just now making over 6 figures and building my first home at 36. Social media will have you believing that you're a failure at 25 if you haven't achieved these things that I'm just now getting. Walk your own path, it'll come.🙏🏾
It's okay if you don't feel you're good enough
Let not the world stop you with its illusions
of perfection
It has stolen too much joy
So go write an average poem
And when the world asks you it’s name
Call it "rebellion"
After a while you learn the subtle difference,Between holding a hand and chaining a soul! You learn that love doesn’t mean leaning
And company doesn’t mean security
You begin to learn that kisses aren’t contracts. And presents aren’t promises. And you begin to accept your defeats.
Black is beautiful yajama but we don’t have the same complexion, just because my melanin pops different from yours does not make me less of a Junubi…they are chocolate, light skinned, mixed race Junubin, we should celebrate our diversity instead of namecalling each other #SSOT
