“There is an olodo uprising in Nigeria, and it’s terrible. We now have a Peller culture. We have accommodated unintelligent and ignorant people so that they don’t feel bad, now they’re the majority.“
— Rapper, Ycee Jagaban
Wikipedia co-founder Larry Sanger announced he was indefinitely banned from editing the site after he attempted to fight against rampant anti-Israel bias on the platform.
The information war is real. Big Tech and online encyclopedias are rewriting history and silencing anyone who defends Israel. Don't rely on biased platforms for the truth.
I still don’t understand why Nigerians are obsessed with adding B. Sc, M. Sc, PhD, ACCA, FCA, MCIPM and countless letters before or after their names.
A country where insecurity is rising.
Poverty is deepening.
Hunger is everywhere.
Electricity is unreliable.
Schools are failing.
Hospitals are struggling.
Yet our biggest obsession seems to be titles.
A society that worships credentials more than outcomes will keep producing people who look qualified on paper but cannot solve real problems.
The countries leading the world are not led by title collectors.
They are led by problem solvers.
Nigeria has no shortage of certificates.
Nigeria has a shortage of real solutions.
Donald Trump’s handling of the Iranian crisis in the Middle East is failing badly.
He must urgently maintain strong military and economic ties with moderate Arab nations while putting the Palestinian issue front and center. Many Arab states have already accepted Israel’s existence in the region, but they are determined to resolve the Palestinian question. Crafting a viable Palestinian state is essential, it would decisively neutralize Iran’s primary propaganda weapon against Israel and pave the way for lasting, durable peace.
A major part of the problem is Trump’s deeply counterproductive combative style, his antagonism, pejorative rhetoric, and consistent failure to build consensus. This approach has seriously weakened his diplomatic leverage, especially on Iran. A broad consensus-driven strategy would have been far more effective than his go-it-alone isolationism.
Trump urgently needs to recalibrate. He must set aside the bluster, bring the Europeans and key Arab partners fully onboard, and tackle the thorny Middle East conflict with real diplomatic focus and unity.
The official death toll in Venezuela is 32. The US Geological Survey's own models estimate the real number will most likely reach the thousands, with a serious chance of passing 10,000 or maybe towards 100,000 as per some reports. The most important figure in this disaster is the one nobody can see yet.
What struck on Wednesday evening was rare and violent. Not one earthquake but two, a 7.2 and then a 7.5 just 39 seconds apart, a doublet, the strongest to hit Venezuela in over a century. They flattened buildings across Caracas and the coast. A 22-story tower in the Altamira district came down completely, with people climbing the rubble calling out names.
The gap between 32 and thousands is not a contradiction. It is a clock. The acting president said plainly she does not yet have any data from La Guaira, the coastal state she called the hardest hit, now a disaster zone. Power and cellphone signal are down across the worst areas. The dead there have not been counted because rescuers cannot yet reach them, and families cannot call out. The low number is not reassurance. It is the silence before the real one arrives.
The science explains the scale. Caracas sits in a deep sedimentary basin that amplifies seismic waves, so the same quake does far more damage there than it would elsewhere. The fault that ruptured has been known and watched for decades. The hazard was never a secret. The readiness to meet it was the missing piece.
In the coming days the number will climb, perhaps steeply, as crews reach the coast and the lines come back. Whatever it reaches, remember that the 32 you saw first was never the toll. It was only the part of the country that could still be heard.
Aid is already moving. The counting has barely begun.
You have been saying this for a long time but nobody is listening. Most white Americans are liberal and brainwashed to hate the US. They hate the very values that made the United States great. It’s almost too late for the United States. Once the Democrats are back in power it will be the end of the United States as a great nation.
@JayGenXer@BenMulroney 😂 he’s trying so hard not to offend even when he’s being offended and insulted in his country. He can’t even say I don’t want this and fight back. What a cowardly bunch!
@MarioNawfal The west is in trouble… with people like Tucker Carlson influencing behaviour and attitudes there won’t be a west that is free and democratic in less than two generations.
Good move. However I think the public compensation should be discontinued. With the insecurity in the south west, she could become a target for kidnappers as they will think that people will crowd fund to free her. The lady should just keep a very low profile for now.
She’s a good woman and I pray nothing bad happens to her.
IRAN HIRED PSYCHOLOGISTS TO UNDERSTAND TRUMP
Iranian negotiators reportedly told mediators they consulted with psychologists to help them understand President Donald Trump’s thought patterns during negotiations.
According to the report, Iranian diplomats worked with experts in an effort to predict how Trump would publicly respond to Iranian proposals.
They also reportedly studied Trump’s 1987 book The Art of the Deal to better understand his negotiating style.
The regime isn’t just negotiating.
It is trying to manipulate.
The apparent insensitivity of many Nigerian leaders to the hardship and suffering of citizens is rooted in a lack of accountability. When those in power believe they have captured the political and electoral systems and can remain in office regardless of public opinion, they have little incentive to listen, empathize, or respond meaningfully to the concerns of the people. This stands in stark contrast to established democracies, eg US, UK, where leaders are often more measured and sensitive because they know voters can remove them from office. The growing disconnect between Nigeria’s leaders and its citizens is a troubling symptom of weakened democratic accountability, and until public officials face real political consequences for poor governance, indifference to the plight of ordinary Nigerians will persist.
Europe has been the fertile breeding ground for radical Islam since the 1980s and France has led the charge with shocking enthusiasm.
When Saddam Hussein sought to eliminate the threat of Ayatollah Khomeini, it was France that rolled out the red carpet, granting him safe asylum. Not content with mere shelter, France actively encouraged, supported, and platformed Khomeini as he plotted the overthrow of the Shah of Iran. A weak Jimmy Carter sat in the White House, too feeble and feckless to intervene or counter this dangerous French-backed revolution.
Without France’s decisive betrayal, Iran would never have become the epicenter of radical Islamist tyranny that it is today.
France didn’t just enable one regime, it helped midwife the monstrous ideology now terrorizing the world. Europe as a whole has incubated, sheltered, and exported this poison for decades. Today, the continent remains a swarming hive of radical Islamism, with France at the rotten core. The chickens of their own reckless policies have come home to roost and the entire free world is paying a heavy price.
As a real Arab Muslim: this backward nonsense has nothing to do with Islam and is illegal in the Gulf, the cradle of Islam.
Pure ignorant cultural backwardness and the West is now the perfect breeding ground for this disgusting plague.
Why does the West love extremist political Islam so much? 🤔
