I think people forget (or don’t know) that Rogers was initially a LW.

At youth level for West Brom & Man City, on loan at Blackpool, Bournemouth, Lincoln he was primarily a LW, even played up top at times.

It wasn’t till Boro & Villa that he played mainly centrally as a 10/SS.
