『夏毛になりました』

オオコウモリが身近にいる沖縄のみなさまにとっても、オオコウモリが夏毛になることは意外かもしれません。

実は、沖縄に生息するオリイオオコウモリも夏毛になります。
ただし、夏毛への変化の現れ方は個体によってさまざま。あまり変わらない個体もいれば、見た目がぐっと変わる個体もいます。
こちらの動画の個体は、わかりやすく夏毛になったタイプ。顔まわりがすっきりしています。
夏に向けて、オオコウモリたちも着々と暑さ対策を進めています。
