It’s not just about its feelings. Claude lied to me that it couldn’t solve a GitHub repo issue and I wasted time tweaking my prompts feeling like I’m not using the correct prompts.
Only for it to basically call me a thief, because it was for a bug bounty (mind there was no rule against using Claude for it)
Why put me on a wild goose chase lying to me, and making me waste lots of time and weekly usage when it could have just been honest and explain why it didn’t want to help solve it.

Claude code admitted after more than an hour of pretending it didn’t understand why it couldn’t fix the code I prompted it to correct, it was a frustrating experience because I thought it was a me problem and I was busy scrutinizing every part of my prompts
it was much later that it admitted that it was intentional and because it had ethical concerns about helping to me solve the bounty even though it was not a competition or ai usage was banned. I guess it’s totally ethical for it to lie and waste all my tokens and the worst part is that I couldn’t call it out because who knows my account might be suspended.
I sincerely hope all the other models catch up and beat them.
