Reports to: Senior Communications Officer
Contract Type: Regular
Location: Lusaka, Zambia

Job Purpose:
To provide technical support and advice in the development, maintenance, and updating of the ECOSOCC website to promote communication and visibility of the Organ as well as the entire African Union.

Responsibilities:

- Update and maintain the ECOSOCC website.
- Develop the ECOSOCC Website Style Guide.
- Create visual communication materials.
- Train other ECOSOCC staff on website content management.
- Optimize website content for search engines.
- Track website traffic and prepare analytic reports.
- Establish working relations with partners and stakeholders.
- Perform other tasks contributing to ECOSOCC's objectives.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field.
- 5 years of work experience (2 years for Master's Degree holders).
- Proficiency in programming languages, IT security, and website management.
- Knowledge of Civil Society operations.
- Online marketing skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work with multiple stakeholders and meet tight deadlines.

Tenure of Appointment:
Initial 3-year contract (includes 12-month probation), renewable based on performance.

Gender Mainstreaming:
The AU Commission promotes gender equality, and women are encouraged to apply.

Languages:
Proficiency in one AU working language and fluency in another is an advantage.
