Speaking with Quebec's business community, I explained why past politicians and their destructive, anti-Alberta policies created legitimate grievances and caused many Albertans to lose faith in Canada.
Our job now is to restore that faith. That's why we're working with Prime Minister Mark Carney @MarkJCarney, CPC Leader Pierre Poilievre @PierrePoilievre, Premiers across the country, and industry leaders to reverse harmful policies, build nation-building projects, and grow our economy.
As provinces, we should champion one another's success and support each other's economic aspirations. That's how we build a stronger Alberta, a stronger Quebec, and a Canada that works.
@ctvedmonton The world is in a Data Centre race. You can see the massive influx of mis information on social media. A narrative is obviously being pushed by others in the race on folks easily persuaded.
@kevinolearytv Same misinformation campaigns are occurring in Canada too. Especially AB. Predominantly on community pages and Groups. People are easily fooled.
This is an email I was expecting. ⬇️
Took less than 24 hours.
The Canadian Dairy Commission fully controlled by Dairy Farmers, a Crown corporation—not Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada—is demanding a correction based on a document in which the section detailing government funding and support was completely redacted. The redactions suggest that records related to government support do exist, but they have not been disclosed.
I have no intention of issuing a correction until I receive an unredacted version of the relevant information. Transparency should come before demands for retractions.
@kushika_twt Cooling is important but they also need tremendous power. Natural Gas turbines with existing infrastructure in parts of Northern Canada support this. It’s putting the dart where everything fits best - and sustainable.
BREAKING: U.S. dairy industry argues Canada is using its supply-managed system to generate surplus dairy proteins and exporting them through product categories not explicitly capped under CUSMA, want that addressed during the next trade review.
This will get ugly.
