It’s hard to believe but this is a picture of the United States reflecting pool before the revolution happened. The US was once a very westernized country
Something is cooking. Something bad. For the past week or so I‘m reading all over western media this garbage that „Russia is losing“ and that Putin has his back against the wall. Some of these articles are even discussing the post-war order after Russia has lost… utter nonsense.
Anyone following the actual battlefield, even just in passing would know that Russia is advancing and that the Donbas is nearly consolidated. From there, even Odessa might be next. Anyone‘s guess. But what‘s sure is that there is no battlefield collapse to be expected and the Russian army is anything but eroded.
One thing that is also clear is that the Russian‘s are pissed but not at Putin. They are pissed at the West for all the strikes and the belligerency. I‘ve met several Russians who criticized the government for not being forceful enough against the irredeemable Europeans.
So what is this nonsense about „Putin drowning“ and Russia losing? Are they preparing some very large thing that is supposed to push them over the edge to counter strike at NATO and then they‘ll blame it on a losing leader who had his back against the wall?
I‘m seriously worried we might be seeing the narrative preparations for something bad. Something very bad.
Why did our ruling class not invest in decarbonising faster to avoid this acceleration in deadly heatwaves that scientists warned would come? Because of the capitalist law of value.
Capital invests in what is most profitable to capital, rather than what is most necessary for humanity, so our ruling class keeps ploughing investment into fossil fuels and SUVs, while we get far too little in renewables and public transit, even while the world burns around us.
We have more than enough capacity (labour, factories, technology) to address the climate crisis, but as long as capital controls investment and production we are prevented from doing it.
We are trapped by the capitalist law of value, living in a miserable shadow of the world we could have.
"The hardest decision we had to make in completing this report was.. not to name the Palestinian children, whose deaths, injuries & suffering we describe.. we didn't name them because we feared the consequences for their families"
He means Israel would go after them too.
1/ With the competence he is known for, failed propagandist Eylon Levy chose me to ask fro evidence.
Thread of evidence that Israel murders babies with flying death robots.
Immer dasselbe - in zeitlichen Schleifen, auratischen Wellen, historischen Episoden.
europe spent 400 years using slave labour in colonies to build their wealth, rebranded this extraction model in the 20th century and somehow their citizens still believe their social conditions is a result of some superior intellect rather than inhuman violence
There never was a Keir Starmer. Such a person hasn't existed in decades. There is no 'Andy Burnham' either. Banks, corporations and special interests rule through manikins: dolls with no human traits or personality. They are elite humanoids, used as props, tasked with overseeing the status quo. Canada's Carny and Australia's rotating idiots, or Greece's: they have absolutely nothing to do with representation or an intelligible set of principles. The West never stopped being feudal
The level of pure shamelessness and arrogance it takes for a country that has caused so much pain and suffering in the world to become the world’s second-largest weapons exporter within a decade or two after WWII is nauseating enough.
But the fact that it is even remotely acceptable for any country, especially Germany, to produce weapons of mass destruction is why this world is so absolutely fucked up.
Over a million Iranians and Kurds are still suffering today as a consequence of the chemical weapons that Germany not only supplied to Saddam but also helped him build the necessary mass-production infrastructure for, involving over 80 German companies.
God knows how many other tyrants and dictators this country has assisted in their crimes against humanity.
Yet this is the same country that never misses an opportunity to lecture others about human rights and international law.
This is the same country that decided international law shouldn’t apply to Iran when it was attacked twice during negotiations -a nation that has not started a war in more than 300 years -while regularly issuing statements of “must” regarding Iran.
This is the same Germany that has been actively supporting Israel in its genocide in Gaza and its war crimes throughout the Middle East, still trying to sell it to the world as its duty for committing even more horrible crimes in the past - like an abusive ex husband who pledges to make up for his mistakes by beating his neighbor’s wife instead.
This Germany, as it is, shouldn’t be allowed anywhere near a non-permanent seat on the Security Council, let alone a permanent one.
It's wild that the term "Free World" emerged in Western discourse in the 1940s, at a time when the Western European powers exercised authoritarian control over the colonised territories and the US was an apartheid regime with institutionalised racial segregation.
Funny that you didn’t mean it this way but this simply looks like Palestinians in the OWB, being inhumanely stuffed into checkpoint lines on one side of the apartheid wall.
