@05Aomine_Daiki @axiekingaruchan@AxieInfinity@TriballyGames@Indes_Tribally@amypeniston We'd LOVE an Axie Classic API 🧡
Classic was integrated into https://t.co/JnpGY4NOy2 at launch, but it vanished 24 hours later as the Cursed Coliseum update killed our feed 🪦
Since then we haven't had any access to data 😭
When we can get it, tools will follow 🫡
"We need a new game with +10M$ in funding to onboard the masses!!!"
Yeah, sure.
What if we stopped to underestimate the current games we have tho?
• 100K monthly active players
• 18,000 unique wallets trading an ingame-asset
• 136,000 unique assets traded
Yes that game is Axie and it's (surprisingly?) still the dominant force in web3 gaming:
• Axie Infinity Origins has 100 K MAU and is paying out 112,000 AXS per season (49 days/season) in prizes.
• Axie Infinity Classic (the card game from 2020/2021) still has 40 K MAU and is paying out 1,000 AXS per season (14 days/season) in prizes.
• 136,000 axies have been sold in the last 30 days.
• 18,000 unique wallets have bought/sold an axie in the last 30 days.
• There are 13 games live RIGHT NOW using the Axie-IP. Some of these are built by Sky Mavis and others built by the community.

Quick look at what they've shipped lately/what's next
Axie benefits from a lot of same trends as Pudy penguins and looks to be actively learning from Pudgy’s approach. One example is the newly upgraded Axie Giphy:
Re: Ronin
The Ronin ecosystem is getting stronger with the addition of games outside of Axie, such as Pixels, which in turn, helps reinforce the network effect of the ecosystem and even introduces new players to axie.
This was seen with the Cyberkongz Axie gifting program:
According to Jihoz: “Cyberkongz community members spent far more on the axie marketplace than the value of the axies given to them after just 45 days, meaning that giving out free axies to the right groups, has positive long-term value to the ecosystem.”
Last but not least, the part upgrades is scheduled to be released in the next couple of months (Q3'23/Q1'24)👀

*disclosure: this writeup isn't a financial advice, this is mainly my take about Axie & our vision as web3 gaming peeps ; I do own some Axies NFTs and do own some Ronin & Axie tokens (my size isn't size tho, or is it? idk)*
also, no, this isn't a sponsored post

In the last couple of months, a lot of us (me first) expected that many games that raised multi millions $ would launch and overtake Axie. Never happened and many of these games are now ceasing operations.

would love to see more web3 games sharing meaningful data, such as DAU/MAU, # of wishlists on steam/epic or revenue generated for example

sick of seeing beasts dominate the leaderboards?
just like in axie v2, aquas are still strong vs beasts! (curse cards ruin rage turns, oranda clears rage stacks)
contact me if you want to buy the strongest meta aquas at a small discount ;)
