@DFPsheikh Destroyer can do it in Marathon,
both games use Tiger Engine,
therefore -> simple backport to D2
Same reason we got the "Annoucements" Tab in the June 9th Update, that is just a reskin of the Marathon Mail Tab.
@RedGamingTech This is exactly what you get when the market leader has no competition... until they do.
"intel Mobile CPUs have been a shitshow in terms of power draw / performance per watt, and Nvidia doesn't make SoCs, so we might as well put our old GPU tech in ours!"
@fromsoftserve The small download size is for the same reason Helldivers went from over 135 GB to under 30, deleting massive redundancies to optimize loading times on spinning hard drives, because it's "SSD only" console / PC.
@ash_twtz which means you are too young to remember that IE used to just feel "better" than original Netscape Navigator.
They lost to Firefox, but Firefox didn't always exist.
@NehraWorkss Most people care about productivity and/or compatibility.
It's important that you're running officially supported and certified configurations if you're trying to make money, especially if there are compliance requirements.
If you don't, making your OS a fidget toy is fine.
@aquavitae96 The difference between a Monotheist and an Atheist is that the Monotheist rejects claims to the existence of roughly 18 thousand gods others have worshipped throughout history, while Atheists merely add 1 more to the pile.
@DetectiveSeeds@PlayStation@Bungie@DestinyTheGame You can already install D1 on 3 generations of game consoles.
The only real benefit would be to finally have a PC Port, Console Versions would just be a Bonus.
@MyLordBebo Corporations don't actually care about social causes, they care about money.
As soon as they believe there is no benefit to their bottom line, they stop pandering.
Not as soon as it hurts them, as soon as they are unlikely to benefit, "all things being equal", they don't care.
@PatrickMoorhead "No current GPU Architecture".
Thanks to AMDs amazing foresight, their top of the Line Mobile chip uses RDNA 3.5.
"Use a 2024 refresh of 2022 GPU Architecture Today!"
@PigeonGoGaming i would strongly advise against buying ANY D2 DLCs before the 9th, as all of the individual ones will see a permanent price reduction, and there will be a new, never before sold "complete" one that not only collects all past DLCs, but for the first time also all Dungeon Keys.
@treasureh8nter Code compilation runs on the CPU.
N1(X) targets the "Windows on ARM" market.
This shows that the CPU portion of the SoC can hang with the current top mobile offerings from intel & AMD, to show it is relevant for more than just "can run local AI workloads on the 128GB Memory.
@dero_br@All_The_Players i mean, they had legacy collections which used to be "everyting but the current year"down to 10-12 USD regularly the past couple of years, and there was a year of prophecy discount down to 30 i think? so "everything excluding dungeon keys" was like 40-45 before.
@NatalyVT_@Destiny2Team@BungieHelp@A_dmg04 the router could be ass, the ISP you're paying could be ass, just the ISPs routing to the Destiny servers could be ass.
Rattling off specs of a V8 Super Car you have is irrelevant to whether nor not the road to your destination is temporarily closed because of severe potholes.
