@Death_Cultist@BUGZSNATCHER Yes. comphet is about heteronormativity and amatonormativity. When something is presented as a default, it is common to fall into that before discovering other options. Aro/ace community for example has the joys (/s) of compulsory sexuality.
@Lunarianlight@feniu2137@moonmin_03 If someone wants to skip, that's fine and their choice. But to say that no one waits for their friend, taxi them around, or do older content with them is just incorrect. Will I have more fun on new content? Yeah! Will I still have fun playing with my friend on old content? Ofc!
@feniu2137@moonmin_03 I do and did. I can do something on the side if I'm waiting for them for cutscenes. I can taxi them around to make traveling the map a bit easier. I can run dailies with them or even just enjoy company.
@lastmanmoder@cosmicw4ves You know, I can understand the body separate from mind part as in like a "I'm more than a physical form" and even the original post (its dp/dr tho), but disagree. To actively participate in life just for the sake of it is a great gift to give yourself. Therapy helps from my exp
@NoHorror03@ShallWeGundam Honestly, her prolly being on the aroace spectreum is a good part of why I picked it up. While she got less screentime than I hoped, I'm glad that I did. Tamaki as well kinda felt a bit acespec to me and that was super cool too.
@nyadia_ I was reading this and it sounded so much like me and then I read the last sentence and was like "yup it is me!" lol. Another aroace canon event I guess
@apaolazia@linyacat Like they may provide the kindling, but I provide the spark. Key thing that works for me is to ensure that no one adds more fuel to the flame (including myself) and either work to put it out together or let it just peter out over time. You can always clean up the ashes after.
@apaolazia@linyacat Honestly, as someone with it and constantly runs into issues with it, not possible. Not because people are shitty, but because ultimately my thought process turns something that should be a benign issue into a real issue in my subjective reality.
@kjaypaw@OscarHowells44 Really is. The "I don't owe anyone anything" thing holds up in healthy relationships only if you also recognize that you don't need to do anything, but you want to anyways. Like I don't need to be someone's friend and be there for them, but I want to because they're my friend yk
@Siofra_Mariner I think some jobs are just icky to me but I still level up all my jobs naturally because it's a daily activity I can do with my friends
@daiyuwu@ToniNottford No way, is this why he was crashing out on Limsa Sarg the other day? Normally I don't see him (maybe I don't afk around Limsa enough or just got lucky) but he was just going on for a couple hours one night.
@aemaliia@rejwichan Ofc there's fake it until you make it but I don't think that fits this context. I always view that as just for confidence and not for actual ability.
@aemaliia@rejwichan Isn't this the same thing where people act like a character to improve themselves in hobbies? Like trying to emulate another person to get their best qualities. There's a term for it but idr it rn. Like a detachment from who you are makes it easier to do things effectively ig
@ragnvaldrtoejob @sickducking The v query parameter is for the video ID and it should be included or else you're not even linking to a video. It is the "si" query parameter which is for tracking.
@Brendzun oh and if you can stomach Frontlines, it's a good source of EXP too! You can swap classes in the beginning or middle and still earn EXP for the class you queued into.
@Brendzun Yes! but I still recommend skipping guildhests since they don't give much roulette bonuses x-x. For EXP: Main Scenario (though takes a long time), Levelling, and Alliance Raids are good. The others are still good but less EXP relatively.
@VenandrVT@veniyury Who says "Bon appetit" unironically in common, everyday language? Maybe France or cultures heavily influenced by the French because I wouldn't know, but I don't know anyone who does. Wouldn't it be more similar to saying grace too but a) takes too long and b) still not universal.
