-1965 में सरकार द्वारा गठित लोकुर कमिटी ने सिफारिश की थी कि 171 दलित जातियों और 131 आदिवासी जनजातियों को SC/ST लिस्ट से बाहर किया जाए, क्योंकि ये सामाजिक रूप से आगे बढ़ चुकी हैं?

इनमें ये जातियाँ शामिल थीं:
-बिहार/UP: चमार, धोबी
-महाराष्ट्र: महार
-MP: चमार, जाटव, महार
-AP: माला
-पंजाब: चमार
-और भी कई जातियाँ: नामसूद्र, सुनरी, वेलन, राजवंशी, अन्य

तो सवाल ये कि 60 साल पहले ही जिनको हटाना था, वो आज भी आरक्षण क्यों ले रहे हैं??

The rule was that for cooked food, the Brahmins should cook by oneself or eat from a shrotriya Brahmin household only. Other varnas could supply the materials or prepare fruits and other things like curd etc. which you don't require to cook. However these days most no longer follow these rules except in religious functions like cooking bhoga for deities or cooking food in shrAddha where only Brahmin cooks are asked to cook them and the materials are supplied while fruits, curd, semolina, milk preparations that don't require cooking with salt can be prepared by the same non v1 castes.

I thought this tradition extinct now. Bengal brahmins don't eat rice (Kaccha) at non brahmin house. While luchi puri (pakka) can be eaten. Same system in Assam also . Brahmins in rural assam don't eat rice at non Brahmin be GC / OBC functions , Only consume puri / dahi chura.
