मोहम्मद अली उर्फ आयुष मालिक के दोस्त ने चंद दिन पहले हाईकोर्ट में अपील डाली थी कि उसे घर वालों ने बंधक बना कर रखा है

उसकी मर्ज़ी के खिलाफ धर्म परिवर्तन करवा दिया गया उसका, उसे कोर्ट के सामने पेश किया जाए ताकि वो अपने दिल की बात कह सके और फिर आज मोहम्मद अली चेहरे पर मुस्कान लिए हाईकोर्ट से इंसाफ पाकर वापस लौट रहे हैं।

इलाहाबाद हाई कोर्ट में हबीयस कॉर्पस (Habeas Corpus) याचिका में सच सामने आया और मोहम्मद अली (आयुष मलिक) को बड़ी राहत मिली।

कोर्ट के सामने पुलिसिया दबाव और झूठे दावों का पर्दाफाश हुआ एक बालिग नागरिक को अपनी मर्जी से जीने और धर्म चुनने का जो अधिकार देश का संविधान देता है, आज उस पर अदालत ने मुहर लगा दी।

Ayush Malik Walks Into Court... And Speaks His Truth

A young man from Shamli stood before the Allahabad High Court today and said what he had been stopped from saying for three months.

> I accepted Islam on my own will. I married Chandni on my own will. I want to live with her.

> That was Ayush Malik.. calm, clear and unbroken.

> For three months, police kept him locked in a room under the name of "Protective Custody."

> His own words: "I haven't seen sunlight in months. Room to washroom. Washroom to room. That's all I was allowed."

> His father told the court there was no problem at home. His lawyers went further... they tried to get Ayush declared mentally unfit. They claimed his mind had been washed.

> Ayush rejected every word.

>;Sources inside the court say MLAs from Muzaffarnagar and Shamli had put heavy pressure on Ayush and his supporters. Even then, he didn't bend.

And Ayush Malik told the High Court clearly that he accepted Islam willingly and wants to live with his wife.

He was tortured, his beard was shaved, and he was forcibly made to perform puja, but Ayush remained steadfast in his faith.

When a person accepts Islam sincerely and from the heart, they may endure any hardship and even give their life, but they will never abandon their faith.

Umar Khalid, a PHD scholar and writer, has spent nearly 6 years in jail without his trial concluding.

Meanwhile, Goon Swatantra Bharadwaj, who publicly boasted about cracking the skull (Act of Attempt to Murder) of a Dalit protester’s father, was granted interim bail after around 10 days in custody. The case against him includes provisions of the SC/ST Act, while a separate POCSO FIR has also been registered.

The contrast is impossible to ignore. When years of pre-trial incarceration become normal for one accused, while another receives liberty within days despite serious allegations, we must ask whether the principle of bail, not jail is being applied equally to everyone.

For many Muslims in India, such cases deepen the disturbing perception that identity can influence how swiftly liberty is protected.
