Here is our list of Super 12 nominees.
We’ll be going LIVE this Saturday at 9:30 AM to select our Super 12 team, Player of the Year, and Coaches of the Year.
This year, we have 32 players on our nominee list. These are players and teams we have interviewed or covered throughout the season, which is a key part of our nomination process. There are plenty of other outstanding players out there as well, and we know this list does not capture every deserving player.
This is a deep and competitive group, built from the areas we’ve covered either in person or through previous interviews. While some outlets may lean more heavily toward certain regions, our goal has been to highlight talent across a broader area of Central and Southwest Virginia.
Every player on this list had an outstanding season and played a major role in their team’s success. We wish we could include everyone, but only a select few will ultimately make the final Super 12.
Our selections are subjective and have been thoroughly debated by the three of us, factoring in level of competition, individual production, and team success. We also understand that there are great players on great teams who may not have the same individual numbers as others, and we have tried to balance that as fairly as possible in our process.
Congratulations to all of these players on being recognized as All-District, All-Region, and All-State nominees. We look forward to unveiling our Super 12.
