@Its_lakshya_ai@b4dgerr fair. but the point is distribution, not audience. my first paying customer came from a search, not a follower. audience is one channel, not the only one.
@JadMadi@kamilbaranek_ not that engineers can't sell, we just never practice it. selling is a different muscle. the ones with customers are the ones who started using it.
@solopribuilds The 2% is deciding what the 98% should even do, then testing it and finding the edge cases it missed. Plus design, marketing, support, and everything else that isn't typing.
@ThomasBurkhartB Same. Built mine over 4 months, launched in July, and I'm still in it every day: testing, fixing, design, SEO.
"Built in two days" usually means it shipped, not that it's done.
@JayeshPadhiar Thanks Jay, appreciate the shout. The one-script-tag thing is the whole idea: keep your site, keep your brand, just start collecting emails.
Word of mouth isn't luck.
It's a product good enough that people mention it without being asked, in a place where others will hear. You can't fake the first part. You can build for the second.
