Shipping lines are unnecessarily delaying the issue of Delivery Order to earn more detention charges. They are openly looting the importers. A high level inquiry on Shipping Lines & CFS is required.

As a sincere citizen, we follow all Govt. Orders.Why are the shipping lines and CFS acting differently? Why are they bullying the Importers? Asking us to pay High demerrage, ground rent charges? Please help @PMOIndia @shipmin_india @JNPort @AslamShaikh_MLA @AUThackeray

As an Importer,I sincerely urge the Govt Bodies to help us out. we are being asked to pay High demmurage and detention charge. Shipping lines and CFS not following govt orders to waive off the charges. @PMOIndia @shipmin_india @allcargofficial @JNPort @minmsme @CMOMaharashtra

Govt should give some more thought and perspective towards the SME Importers and Traders association. Materials are getting piled up at the Ports, Payments piling up for the Imports, Debtors cant pay too, stock pile up! How will the rotation work? @ASSOCHAM4India @shipmin_india

DG Shipping has revised & notified order for remission of penal charges, demurrages, detention & anchorage charges etc till 3 May @ all major Ports to mitigate challenges being faced by traders and users of the ports. Its a one-time measure due to prevailing #Covid_19 Pandemic.
