Hey @ZARA india, what has happened to your quality lately?? Bought 3 polo tshirts today. Put them in water as i usually do - it was shocking to see the amount of color they bled. Not one but ALL three of them.
@Rajat_Raghuram@dravishakatoch Hey Rajat - any chance of me joining one of your games / joining the Dunkin’ Dicks community. I used to play often in my hometown but struggling to find a community here 🥺
Pathetic custom service by @airtelindia wifi. Every other internet service in the area had been restored in 2 hours. The airtel technician on the other hand has been dodging our calls since the last two days. And the customer service folks aren’t much helpful either.
@garGoel91 I use idfc first wow card. Can totally vouch. The only thing is it requires you to open an fd (which decides the limit). But otherwise really good for online purchases, international travel. Have found atm withdrawal at zero extra cost (google rate)
@waitin4agi_ We are solving for precisely that at Wadhwani AI. More like doing our bit to help here. Currently serving about 5M govt school students in Gujarat. Many realistic use cases of AI here actually.
Just discovered that @ixigotrains@ixigo has a really unethical dark pattern within their train ticket booking process. They automatically add a very high ‘flex’ charge. A friend has unknowingly paid over Rs 4000 over 4-5 bookings. Never using it again.
@ixigotrains@ixigo Why is it auto selected though? Its easy to forget to deselect it, the option to do that too is hidden. If ots not a dark pattern, I don’t know what is.
Excited to share that I’ll be speaking about Multimodal RAG capabilities with LlamaCloud and LlamaParse from @llama_index on September 30th at MagicBall - AI Week, organised by @grayscale_vc
Announcing #buildshit!
Calling all interaction fanatics, designers and engineers for a fun and light interaction design challenge. The winner takes home $29.
Challenge:
Create a reveal interaction with two views:
1. The first view should showcase a photograph with the photographer's name and social handle.
2. The second view should present all the metadata and reveal itself through some interaction.
Details:
1. Post your work with #buildshit to participate. Use the assets linked below. You may include additional metadata.
2. You have the complete freedom to design any layout and interaction as long as you have the two views and the required assets.
3. The post with the most likes wins (to keep things simple).
4. Tools do not matter. Participate with Code, Figma, Adobe, Jitter, Procreate, Spline, Rive or anything that you are comfortable with.
5. The submissions end on 1 September 2024 at 2:00 PM IST.
6. Do not take the challenge too seriously. This is all about having fun, exploring your creativity and learning from others.
Assets: https://t.co/HglfeGfriu.
Why?
I love thoughtful and delightful interactions. I believe there are always a lot of ways to approach a problem. I am interested in understanding how different people approach the same problem and learning from them.
