Anglo Canadians being forced to conjugate être in the fourth grade: god I hate Quebec, French is the worst
Anglo Canadians when an American insults Quebec:
Yes. I don’t live in Québec.
But threaten Québec’s language, culture or identity, and you threaten something precious to all Canadians.
Québec isn’t just part of Canada. Québec is part of who Canada is.
On est avec vous, Québec. Toujours. 🇨🇦⚜️

President Trump demands Canada change its French language, Quebec culture and Canadian identity as a condition for reversing tariffs.
This is no longer about a trade deal-it is about a takeover of Canada's sovereignty and identity.
feeling a very protective sibling-like relationship to quebec bc like i can chirp quebec all i want as a canadian but americans wanna lay hands on my little french brother and i will throw hands
I don't speak a lick of French. I've never been to Quebec. But it's their goddamn right to speak their language and have every product have both English and French on it. And any self-respecting Canadian should defend their right to do that.
Zara just performed the first song she EVER released in front of her country for the first time since finally making it big worldwide this year 🥹🇸🇪
“Uncover” was released in 2013 when she was just 15 years old.
"Kirby was a survivor, just like me. Kirby had guts and heart and—pardon my French—balls made of steel. That’s who I wanted to be. That’s who I 𝘢𝘮." - Hayden Panettiere (Scream 4/Scream VI)
Happy heavenly birthday to Hayden Panettiere. 🕊️❤️
This birthday hits especially hard because it comes only days after the world lost her.
Hayden had been on our screens since childhood, growing from a young performer into someone millions knew through television, movies, animation, and games. For an entire generation, she wasn’t tied to just one character. She was part of several completely different worlds we grew up with.
Some of her most remembered roles:
• Claire Bennet (Heroes)
• Juliette Barnes (Nashville)
• Kirby Reed (Scream)
• Kairi (Kingdom Hearts)
• Dot (A Bug’s Life)
• Sheryl Yoast (Remember the Titans)
• Beth Cooper (I Love You, Beth Cooper)
• Jessica (Malcolm in the Middle)
and many more!
She should have been celebrating her birthday.
Instead, fans are celebrating the work, characters, and memories she left behind.
Happy heavenly birthday, Hayden. You are deeply missed. 🙏
