Meanwhile, many of us are battling realities far more pressing than the private affairs of strangers. We wake up every day struggling to put food on the table. Some of us have sick and aging parents whose medications we can barely afford. School fees are becoming unbearable, the economy is squeezing the life out of ordinary people, and insecurity continues to threaten our communities and our future.

Yet, among all the challenges confronting Northern Nigeria, it is the marital and sexual lives of a few individuals that seem to command our attention, while the tragic killings in Zamfara yesterday barely receive the outrage and concern they deserve.

The painful truth is that we have become so distracted by the lives of others that we are gradually losing focus on the issues that directly affect our own survival. While we argue, gossip, and take sides over matters that will not improve our lives, families are burying loved ones, children are dropping out of school, and hardworking people are losing hope.

Perhaps it is time we redirected our energy toward demanding solutions to the problems that truly matter. Because when the cameras are turned off and the social media debates fade away, the celebrities and public figures will continue living comfortably. The real burden of poverty, insecurity, and hardship will still be ours to carry.

Innalillahi Wa Inna Ilaihi Raji'un.

दुनिया से अरफ़ात के मैदान में रुख़सत हुए — इससे बड़ी खुशनसीबी क्या होगी?

रसूलुल्लाह ﷺ ने फरमाया: "जो हज के लिए निकले और रास्ते में इंतकाल कर जाए, उसे क़यामत तक हज का सवाब मिलता रहेगा।"

ये सफेद कफ़न... ये सफेद एहराम...
क़यामत के दिन ये सब इसी हालत में "लब्बैक" कहते हुए उठेंगे।

या अल्लाह, अरफ़ात में वफात पाने वाले तमाम हाजियों की मगफिरत फरमा।
उनके दर्जे बुलंद फरमा। उनके घर वालों को सब्र-ए-जमील अता फरमा। आमीन
