The CTED community mourns the loss of @westmec governing board member Peter Pingerelli. He was a staunch supporter of CTE. His support will be missed. Our thoughts are with @BevPingerelli and Peter's family and friends. #RIP
A wonderful profile of a dedicated instructor at @PimaJTED Career and technical districts across the state are preparing teenagers for careers in robotics, AI, nursing and numerous other careers. Read about instructor Scott Weiler here: https://t.co/AYZU57kcfk
It was great hosting @BennettArizona
where we were able to show our appreciation for his work supporting career and technical education. Sen. Bennett also offered his insights on next year's budget issues - with his famous boxes.
These Mountain Institute CTED students recently graduated from the fire program. 6 already work with the Forest Service, another 9 are headed to a fire academy. More students begin classes in the fall. CTEDs around the state prepare students for rewarding careers
.
@repcampbell has years of experience fighting for improved education. Congrats on being named @GovernorHobbs new chief of staff. We look forward to working with you to expand the opportunities CTEDs provide to the many students in our programs.
With the bipartisan budget on its way to the desk of @GovernorHobbs the 14 CTEDs appreciate the work put in by legislators and staff and appreciate the increase in education funding for the coming year.
.@GovernorHobbs and #AzLeg created a budget that adds significant dollars to public schools around the state, including CTEDs. We get an additional $300 million in one time funding and more importantly schools received the authority to spend all the money thatโs allocated.
Thanks to @BennettArizona for talking to the CTED superintendents and for sponsoring SB1272 that expands access to career and technical education programs
Today, CTEDs across the state met with lawmakers to discuss our priorities. Thanks to @ElectDunn and others who took the time to listen to education leaders.

It's a done deal! Thank you to @votewarren all the senators who overwhelmingly voted today to lift the spending limit for schools. Parents, students and teachers can rest assured we will be able to spend the money appropriated this year.
Thank you @RepBenToma and to all the 46 members of the #AzHouse that supported education, teachers and students by passing a bill to allow schools to spend money already appropriated. Big day for education. Now on to the #AzSenate
