It is rumoured that @IkejaElectric has bought over @NERCNG, that is why @NERCNG have turned a blind eye while @IkejaElectric prevents unistar meters from vending, in direct violation of NERC/246/2021. @NERCNG
and @IkejaElectric, kindly confirm or refute this allegation.
My friend's sister has been missing for several weeks now in Nigeria. No traces. No suspects. No leads. No calls.
Nothing.
At first we thought she was kidnapped and so after reporting to the existing powerless authorities, we expectantly waited like villagers keeping a lamp in the window for a traveller already claimed by the sea ๐.
We waited everyday with a longing like Penelope weaving and unweaving her tapestry, except no Odysseus was ever coming home ๐ฎโ๐จ. No one was coming.
It's been weeks now and the silence of her absence echoes like thunderstorms at midnight.
The poor young girl, perhaps clung to hope beyond hope that there would be a saviour come to rescue her wherever she was... But this was never to be.
Whatever happened to her? We'll never know. Because Nigeria is not a land where lives matter. It is not a land where investigations are kept open until an evidential or logical conclusion. In our land, closure is neither owed to the dead nor to the living.
In our land, stories are forgotten by time almost as swiftly as an hourglass empties its sands.
What ever happened to her?
Was she abducted, killed and her organs harvested and sold? How many victims like her have gone down to mother earth without a voice?
Why do we live like this? Where is the government? The black man cannot guarantee themselves security of lives and property?
Oh black brother! Oh black brother why!!!! What is a nation worth if it's children disappear into silence and silence itself becomes their epitaph?
Sighs.
@Nccbella Nobody has asked where they would be relocating to. That's the first sensible question to ask. Relocating to North Korea is unthinkable, and relocating to Pakistan is worse. So first ask the question: relocate to where?
With what we see in Nigeria, you cannot tell me that if Peter Obi was a fraud, he would not be in jail or be exposed today.
The DSS, the EFCC, the police, the military and others, are not that stupid not to be able to fish him out.
Peter Obi is a saint amongst criminals.
End.
Those who think it's prayer or God that will remove Tinubu from office, I want to let you know there are Christians praying for same thing in the following countries:
Teodoro Obiang Nguema Mbasogo (Equatorial Guinea): Has been in power since 1979, and that is 47years.
Paul Biya (Cameroon): At over 90 years old, Biya is the oldest serving head of state in the world. He served as Prime Minister starting in 1975 before ascending to the presidency in 1982. That is a total of 51years in power.
Denis Sassou Nguesso (Republic of the Congo): His time in office spans two separate stints. He first ruled from 1979 to 1992, lost an election, and then returned to power following a civil war in 1997. A total of 42years in power.
Yoweri Museveni (Uganda): Museveni came to power in 1986 after leading a guerrilla war that overthrew previous military regimes. He has since been re-elected multiple times following constitutional amendments that removed presidential term and age limits. That is a total of 40years in power.
Isaias Afwerki (Eritrea): He has been the countryโs only president since it gained independence from Ethiopia in 1993, with no national elections having been held since. That is a total of 33years in power.
God will never remove anybody from power through prayer. Prayers can only aid you when you actively engage in the options available to you to remove anyone in power.
Let me also remind you that those who think it is impossible to remove Tinubu from office, that Tinubu got rigged 8M votes to rule over 200M people. If 20M Nigerians should come out to vote out Tinubu from office and they are determined Tinubu is as good as gone. That's just 10% of Nigerians.
Tell me why should God remove Tinubu from power even if he wants to when not even upto 10% of Nigerians are ready to get involved.
The power of Nigeria politicians is the docility of Nigerians and many are deceiving themselves that they are praying and that is enough to do the job.
Lastly, yes Tinubu seems to be very confident of remaining in power counting on the power of incumbency. But let me also remind you, when someone becomes overconfident in warfare, he gets easily exposed and it will be over before he knows it.
Tinubu is so beatable if Nigerians are ready to do the needful. And the time to act is now.
2015 to 2023
Nigerians are working to feed.
Now No work.
2023 to 2027
Nigerians are borrowing to feed.
Now Nobody to borrow.
2027 to 2031
If Tinubu wins second term
Nigerians will be stealing to feed.
The choice is yours, vote wisely.
Vote OK and NDC to escape disaster.
