@EvanWritesOnX What Iran did is retaliatory … they were still negotiating the US deal in Oman … and have also reached agreements … it seems now economic integration would only be after a regime change with the supreme leader assassinated.

Asking Allah for Everything
Ibn Rajab رحمه الله said:
"Allah loves that His servants ask Him for all their religious and worldly needs, like their food, drink, clothing, etc., just as they ask Him for His Guidance and Mercy. Because if the servant asks for everything he needs
Don't expect someone to agree with you on theological interpretations of ancient texts if they are unable to recognize livestreamed atrocities against innocent civilians in 4K.
As-Salaamu Alaykum Dr. @YasirQadhi,
As your former student many years ago, I have long refrained from public criticism despite ongoing concerns. However, your recent podcast remarks casting doubt on the rigor of Hadith science compel me to speak up. I have dedicated my life to the transmission and defense of authentic Hadith, and your comments were deeply troubling.
My study of Hadith methodology has only deepened my awe for this noble tradition. I know of no epistemological system in human history more exacting in its pursuit of truth than our science of isnad and matn. The meticulous scrutiny of chains, narrators, and content—along with the stringent conditions for grading reports—is nothing short of remarkable. I am disappointed that you, of all people, do not appear to share this reverence.
Even more concerning was your description of the secular “historical-critical method” as “scientific,” without acknowledging the growing academic critique of its epistemological foundations. This method is not an unbiased or neutral standard of truth. It emerged from Enlightenment skepticism, first weaponized against Christianity, and later repurposed by Orientalists to undermine Islamic intellectual authority. As scholars like Dr. @JosephLumbard have pointed out, it often functions more as a tool of ideological control than a pursuit of objective knowledge. I had hoped you would challenge its flawed assumptions, not apparently validate them.
I also question the wisdom of voicing such statements publicly. They sow confusion and doubt among believers while offering potent fuel to bad-fath critics of Islam. Whether you identify as an academic or a preacher, you remain a public-facing Muslim scholar. A Imam who speaks from the inheritance of the Prophet’s ﷺ pulpit. That position carries the serious responsibility to reinforce faith, not weaken it. I can no longer, in good conscience, recommend that lay Muslims learn from someone who appears unconfident in our scholarly heritage.
That said, I am repulsed by some of the evil things said about you online. I have been the target of such ugliness myself. Yet as Imam al-Ghazali said, beneficial truth may come even from a wicked tongue. The humble believer listens for the right correction even amidst harsh condemnation. I hope you reflect on the backlash—not to dismiss it as mere reactive hostility, but to discern that it signals a need for you to adjust course. I do not write this out of animosity or malice. I love good for you as I love it for myself, as I do for all Muslims, as is their sacred right. I pray you reflect upon my sincere advice, that your heart be softened by the goodwill of a former student.
May Allah make guide you and me to the Truth and His pleasure, and make us Imams of Taqwa, Hikmah, and Ikhlas. Ameen.
Islam solves this problem, where a Muslim who is wealthy is encouraged to distribute wealth in the society starting from Family, friends, neighbors, community etc. In the form of Sadaqah, Zakat, Zakat Ul Fitr.
If there’s no vision or end goal for wealth, this is what’s expected. Why not adopt a simple mindset shift ? Instead of aimlessly amassing wealth do it with greater cause in mind to solve problems such as poverty, hunger, enable better education, etc.
The worst thing about becoming rich (500M+) is that there’s nothing to buy.
You invest to increase your money, but that’s not buying things.
20 cars, 10 houses, yacht, jet, 15 diamond watches. Done.
Then you’re left with PILES OF MONEY and nothing at all to buy besides steak.
@HanbaliRegiment All this just to stay consistent with a belief system which was based out of Aristotles Ten Categories.
The root of the issue, Contingent beings have accidents, God isn’t contingent hence doesn’t have any accidents. So they avoid attribute direction, action etc. and do Ta’weel.
The Sunni understanding of the martyrdom of al-Husayn (ra), in which he and his family are butchered meaninglessly in cold blood, is sadder than the Shi'i version, in which the infallible Imam sacrifices himself and his family, for knowingly sacrificing your family is unjust.
@Fishtiaaq JBP follows Catholic Doctrines, and yet when he’s asked whether he’s a Christian or not, he may be both 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Zionism has taken the fundamental law of logic out of his system.
After getting prayers answered, the first thing we tend to forget is how tough things were before.
Then we start thinking that everything was going to work out anyway.
A Sea Within the Heart
A sea within the heart—
ravaging waves, never still.
We pray the Lord bestows
sunlight through the clouds,
calm winds and tender breeze,
a flock of birds in the blue sky—
within the heart.
May Allah grant us
the peace and contentment
we so deeply yearn for.
